Arceus
i didn't watch the trailer because it didn't appear interesting to me, this is likely the case for most people across the other platformsThat's doesn't make any sense... Like I'm having a very hard time understanding how you can say something you know nothing about doesn't look interesting? To try and be constructive, was it the screencap? I updated it: Does that 'appearing interesting' now? That looks pretty good for a thumbnail to me. I did have a quick look at one point but I didn't leave a comment - not sure if I watched all the way through to count it as a view either. Noxx
Couple weeks ago i approached this girl that works at a burger joint close to where i live. She had a boyfriend at the time so it sucked. I still saw her every now and then went i went to buy food. It was awkward the first few times i saw her, but it was whatever. I saw her again a few days ago, we exchanged pleasantries, but she kinda seemed a bit more into it than usual. I took a chance and gave her my number. Basically told her "I know you may or may not have a boyfriend, and i don't want to make a fuss while you're at work, but here's my number. Use it. Don't use it. Whatever. She texted me later that night when she got off work. Actually pretty excited about this cause she's cute as [bleep].

Tesset
You know the old saying that everyone has a queer cousin, and if you don't know the queer cousin, it's you? Always thought that applied to me, but turns out, one of my cousins is marrying another woman, so I guess I'm not the only one in the family :P Who the [bleep] and what the [bleep] is this seeming new *human* user in my OT?A bot My skin is finally getting softI'll scrub until the damn thing comes off

Bonez899
Finished the testing portion of the hiring process I was going through yesterday. Now just a waiting game to find out whether I passed everything and to hopefully get hired! Think I did okay on everything but I'm only positive on passing one of the three stages. Some good news came out of the interview though in that usually its 3-4 weeks between the pre-screening and orientation for the position and at least two weeks to hear back, but they have an orientation starting next Tuesday so I should be hearing back this week and it would be absolutely amazing if I was able to start working that soon. Otherwise because of the hiring I had to get two of my exams moved around so that's what Monday and Tuesday this week are all about. Crush those out and then I'm officially done school for this academic year and all goes well making that good money.Update now because I didn't before but finished my exams and waiting for results. Also got the job and start my orientation period on Tuesday and should be out working in full capacity by the middle of May at the latest. Only thing that really sucks is that I got hired casual for a spot about an hour away so I'm going to end up commuting a fair bit, but since I'm living at home it'll still be cheaper. http://forum.tip.it/topic/325514-bonez899s-journey-to-an-eventual-max/ My blog of progress on Runescape. Bonez899
an hour is a perfect normal commute (unfortunately), well done bonezThanks! And it may be a normal commute but on either end of 12 hour shifts I'm just not looking forward to it. Arceus
I have an interview presentation (over the phone) for a problem an order of magnitude more difficult than what I was working on, and even that one we weren't making so much progress. Tesset
Today's the day. Coming out to my parents. Nerves are really starting to set in.Unhappy, but resignedly accepting, is how I'd describe their reaction. They know they can't stop me, and both of them said they don't want to call me Tes, but neither of them tried particularly hard to talk me out of it. I guess I wait, take it slow, and hopefully bring them around over time. The really worrying statement was Dad asking me why I didn't just "wait a few years until [he's] dead. Won't be that long." RpgGamer
Yikes that's a rough one. Proud of you for giving them the chance to get to know the real you though. Veiva
My latest launcher has been downloaded roughly 80 times. (A few of those would be me but the number is insigifniciant.) The latest game build has only been downloaded roughly 10 times. You know why? Microsoft is literally ruining the success of my game. I wonder if I'd have a leg to stand on by buying the code signing cert then suing them for the cost of the cert in small claims court. Their warning saying my game "may put computers at risk" which is unfounded bullshit. We're talking I have to put out almost $1,000 to get rid of this warning. I don't have that money at this point considering my game is free. They are using their monopoly to force smaller developers to the Windows store, where they make a nice cut of profits. That's illegal. edit: I'm not really thinking of suing Microsoft lol. Edited April 23, 2019 by Veiva
RpgGamer
Given that it's a blanket security measure I don't know if you'd be able to sue with any kind of grounds, it's meant to protect people from downloading computer AIDS, its not realistic to filter what is and isn't a legit program. "May be dangerous" is about as close as you'll be able to get. That said, you might be able to write off the cert as a business expense through your LLC and recoup the loss through taxes. But I'm not 100% sure how that works Quote Quote Anyone who likes tacos is incapable of logic. Anyone who likes logic is incapable of tacos.
