sarg1010
(mods, I used the search button and couldn't find a thread that was like this, but if there is, feel free to lock it [this thread, not the other thread :P].) On to the topic... What has Runescape taught you? Rs has taught me: How to type alot faster than I did before. | Goal setting. (getting certain levels.) | Math [a little bit]. (Calculating how much money you have total/how much you'll have left over after you do something.) I'll think of some more as i remember  But yea, what has Runescape taught you? EDIT: It seems like the biggest lesson learned so far has been: faster typing. nice :twss: Unfinished netherrack symbol of Khorne. Never forget. ~creeper face w/single tear~ DO YOU HEAR THE VOICES TOO?!?!

ajk822
I don't know if it has taught me anything, but I think it does allow some people to see how some of the stuff you are taught in school is applied in a real-life type setting. For example economics. 4031st person to 99 Thieving on 5/25/2008If anyone plays NBA Live '08 online on the Wii please PM me. I'm up for anyone. tintin113
It's definitely taught me to type fast lol, and back in "the good old days" where scamming was possible, I was taught that if something seems to be too good to be true then it most likely is, and should be scrupulously checked or ignored. (Talking about scams here, not drops lol, if you get a visage pick it up and run for the hills :P ) Thanks to Quarra for the awesome sig!Xbox360 Gamertag = Tintin113
Avid43
How to plan things well really, eg. how much of different thing I need to buy for a certain level and how much money I will need, what things I might need to look out for etc. etc. It can all be applied to many real world situations where I need to think ahead... shendriks
Runescape has greatly improved my english, Runescape has also taught me: friends and social life first, videogames on second. Spent way to much time on runescape in the first years, but now I'm not addicted anymore and I've got a nice girlfriend :

Fairness
I'd learn just the opposite. I think I'll go stealing jewelry. What's the worst I can get? A blow to the head? Azurechaos
It's taught me (the hard way) that addiction is fairly easy to fall into and very hard to get out of. It took jagex wrecking the game (in my opinion) before I could quit, and I'm still logging in every day out of habit. 99 Firemaking | 99 Mage | 99 Range | 99 Hitpoints | 99 Strength | 99 Attack

EU Slayer
...That I can't no matter how hard I try, It's Impossible to Alch stuff by simply claping my hands.. Umm a little bit of economics, and goal setting. ANd I learned to type a little bit faster :P I don't know which mod did this. I don't know why they did it. If they're looking for money, I can tell them I don't have any as I'm a student. But what I do have are a very particular set of skills; skills I have acquired over 4 years of RuneScape. Skills that I have worked hard for and people like them can't take them away. If they give me my particles back now, that'll be the end of it. I will not look for them, I will not pursue them. But if they don't, I will look for them, I will find them, and they won't like what'll happen
