F2P Training

Ice giants and warriors in the Port Sarim caves are good, and have fair drops for F2P. They're sort of far from a bank, but you can use the explorer ring to teleport to the Draynor cabbage patch, speeding up the banking process a good deal.

Giant spiders and flesh crawlers are pretty good for power training.

Hmm, if you don't want to be damaged, bring full rune and rune scimitar (maybe a salmon or two) and go to the Flesh Crawlers in level 2 of the Stronghold of Security. (Map here. For link scared people: http://www.tip.it/runescape/?page=stron ... ty_map.htm ) If you pick up their body runes, you'll lose a little bit of exp per hour, but you can get A LOT. In fact, I got around 100k body runes from them. If they stop auto attacking you, try moving through doors or a slight walk away from them. They will auto-attack you again. Turn on Auto Retaliate. However, do not leave the computer while doing this. Even though they can't damage much, random events like to pop up here, and if you are gone for a minute, you'll be put into their mercy.

Or, if you want slightly faster training, bring a full inventory of food and a strength potion to the level 50 spiders. Once again, you can use the Stronghold of Security map I posted above. If they stop auto-attacking you, try moving a bit away from them, then go back again. Turn on Auto-retaliate. Again, do not leave the computer while doing this, especially when they can hit higher than the Flesh Crawlers.

Another option would be the Ice Caves. You can slay Ice Giants there. It's slower melee experience than the methods mentioned above, but they also drop big bones which give decent F2P Prayer experience. (Map located here, or for link scared people: http://www.tip.it/runescape/?page=ice_caves.htm ). Turn off auto-retaliate. Remember: Be patient! After about 15 minutes or so the ice warriors will stop attacking you and you will have free reign over them. However, be warned, they can be pretty packed.

Yeah I do listen to music but I've been around since RSC and only level 97 so determination may be a problem :P

Hmm, well this would be good practice. Maybe Ice Giants would be better if you can easily get bored, as you have to pick up the bones.

Yeah eventually I just don't pick up the bones ha but I'll give SOS a try for a while and see what the xp is like and how bored I get

EDIT: How often do they go off auto attack at SOS? I wouldn't have a clue :P

About every 15 minutes. I'm not sure the exact time though.

15 minutes. There is a way to make them agressive again, generally going a ways and then coming back works. I prefer flesh crawlers to spiders, as less food is needed. That's my take on things.

Thoroughly retired, may still write now and again
