Obama winning with 175 to McCains 61

95 Electoral Votes needed for Obama , if all the blue states vote Democrat then Obama only needs to take 1 battleground state to secure a win ::'

That's great news, please keep telling me, being a European without easy access to up-to-date information, how things are going.

Pulse, some of those votes aren't for sure, it's all a guessing game right? But apparently McCain is winning the popular vote. I imagine we all won't know for sure til a week from now.

I wonder if McCain loses, but wins the popular vote, republicans will say it's not fair :P

And Oy, fret not. The great nation of America does not forget you little people on the other side of the sea, it may even give you computers, if you're good.

Most of the Bible Belt states closed at 9 EST, which was about 10 minutes ago. Already a few went to McCain, I doubt Obama will take many. To be honest, if Obama wins Cali and Florida, it's over. Most of CNN's projections are in states that are 60%+ for one person.

Wow, Obama 175, McCain 76. Also Obama took a battleground state in Pennsylvania, this is turning out pretty well.

Also question 2 passed in Massachusetts (if you get caught with less then one ounce of marijuana, you get fined $100 instead of being arrested, pretty funny because a bunch of kids just got caught the other day)

@Oy: Can't you just go on BBC?

EDIT: Are you kidding? I just hit post 5 times, and each time it stopped me because someone else posted first. What's going on!?

EDIT2: 6 times, I want to post this god dammit!

I'd say it just to mock the kids in my classes. My momsays I'm a freak because I've cooled down. I still want McCain to win more than ever, I've just realized, he's not going to win, and we've had really liberal presidets in the past (by American's standards) that I sorta liked. AKA LBJ.

Just out of interest, who's staying up all night for this? I may as well, it's half 2.

After him winning Ohio is there any point lol? I'm off in the next half hour, I have an hour of uni tomorrow afternoon so I'm not staying up until 5am.

This is a perfect example of why Democracy doesn't work <.<

Why? because we have to stay up late to see who's elected? I really don't see where you're coming from.

tip it would pay me $500.00 to keep my clothes ON :(
But then again, you fail to realize that 101% of the people in this universe hate you. Yes, humankind's hatred against you goes beyond mathematical possibilities.
That tears it. I'm starting an animal rebellion using my mind powers. Those PETA bastards will never see it coming until the porcupines are half way up their asses.

I'll sum up my whole feeling towards that comment in just one word: diddums.

I bet McCain will want recounts of Florida, North Carolina, and/or Virginia. I played around with the calculator on CNN, it seems like those three are the crucial ones as of now

I'm staying up. Shouldn't be too late, 1 AM EST isn't too bad, and Alaska has like 10 people.

It looks like Obama is going to win, I'm on the CNN feed right now.

I was going to eat hot dogs for dinner tonight. I think I will settle for cereal.

So true Bball.

But, remember, these are not sure votes. In fact, I was watching, and Obama jumped up, then jumped down, it's all guessing.

Yea, I got an Obama shirt at FYE today, kinda for the shock value my parents would have, and I'm gonna write something on it depending who wins.

Heh, it's only a prediction, but yeah, everyone in my family is voting McCain but me.

Virginia is crazy close right now.

It's flopping a lot.

The closest I saw it was 800 votes, and it's nearly at 80% complete. If it matters, a recount will definitely be demanded.

And I heard McCain wanted a delay, something to do with the army voting. Not sure about that.

I can't believe Montana is a battleground state...What? Like those 3 electoral votes will REALLY matter?
