Well I am excited to say that I have freed up a little time and I would like to dedicate that time to you! But what is this thread for Mod Dave? Good question! I know that some of you have had trouble getting your accounts back or feel that you received a ban or mute unfairly. Whilst Jagex does provided everyone with a way to appeal these actions, I am offering you a personal review of your account. I will check everything and see if we can get you back in-game. So if you would like me to review your banned account, please keep reading. All I need to begin the investigation is the name of your account you would like me to review. I know normally we do not allow the naming of other accounts, however I am temporarily suspending that rule in this thread. Please do not post any personal details, billing information or any other sensitive information. You do not need to do so as we will be able to see this information when we examine the account. I will either reply to you directly on the Forums or via an Inbox message! We are working on a system of degrading black marks, so if you maintain a clean record from now on, when this system is introduced you may find the black marks disappear from your account anyway. And the players who get their accounts back aren't likely to do whatever they did again. I don't see why this is bad, if anything it's showing a personal touch that JaGex had been missing for a while. OH S***! He/she/it is back! Many players get black marks or even bans/mutes unfairly and it would be nice if they would have a chance to have their case properly looked at, instead of having their appeal denied 99% of the time and getting nothing more but an automated message when they haven't done anything wrong in the first place. On the other hand, people that deserve to be banned/muted will probably abuse this system, but I guess we'll just have to trust Jagex on this one. The minimal black marks for macroing at its lowest point was 5 (and the punishment USUALLY given in this era--was still a permanent ban). These days, I'm pretty sure you're just always permanently banned. There hasn't ever been a time where people were allowed to macro multiple times and still play RS.
