Danil445
Dagius Hey everyone, this is my suggestion, the first real F2P challenge, a very powerful wizard! As magic is underpowered (melee/ranged special attacks can freeze/lower too, and cost just a little cash!), there will be new spells, a new staff, and a new set of robes, with a special ability. [hide=Information]- Combat level: 85. - Location: If you dig in the graveyard west of the Clan Wars challenging hall, a zombie will pull you down underground, you will be in a maze. The minimap is invisible, and you can only see a 3x3 area. If you have a lantern with you, your sight will be improved to 6x6. The maze can be in 3 different forms, so you won't get to Dagius too fast. They all contain traps, level 19 aggressive Dark Wizards, which cast Dark Strike, level 27 aggressive Dark Wizards, which cast Dark Bolt, and level 35 aggressive Dark Wizards which cast Dark Blast. They have only 30 hitpoints, and they drop the key to the chamber of Dagius. The maze also contains traps; [bleep]e traps, which deal 10 damage, Tentacle traps, which freeze you, fire traps, which deal 1 to 3 damage per 0.5 second (flames come out of the wall), and, last but not least, Dragonfire traps! These can deal a maximum of 45 damage, but to activate it, you have to walk across a button. If you run, there is no problem. Once you are at the room of Dagius, you have to open it with the key that the Dark Wizards drop. You can only have one key at a time. If you open the door, the key crumbles to dust. Dagius will attack you. When you killed him 5 times, he will cast a spell on you with its last powers, which will teleport you out of the dungeon within 10 seconds. This way, he can't be camped. - Combat type: Magic, Dark Strike/Wave. - Hitpoints: 150. - Examine: An extremely powerful and dangerous wizard.[/hide] [hide=Drops]Members-only drops are italized. - - Coins: 20 - 3000. - - 100%: Bones. - - Runes: Chaos (25 - 50), Death (12 - 25), Blood (3 - 12). - - Arrows: Rune darts (5), Adamant knives (12), Mithril darts (p+)(20), Rune arrows (9), Steel Arrow (78), Iron Arrow (124), Bronze Arrow (256). - - Charms (2): Gold, Green, Crimson, Blue. - - Weapons: Dagius's Staff, Rune Scimitar, Rune 2h, Dragon Dagger, any kind of Battlestaff. - - Armor: Dagius's robes pieces, Red Mystic Robe Top, Rune Platebody, Rune Platelegs, Rune Kiteshield, Rune Full Helm. - - Other: Clue Scroll (lvl 3), Shield Left Half, Ranarr seed, Crystal Key Halfs, Uncut gems, Sharks (4), Super Restore Potion (1), Prayer Potion (2).[/hide] [hide=Information]Dagius is a dark wizard, which floats. The dark spells drain your Prayer Points by 20% of the hit, so keep an eye on your prayer points! The max hit of Dagius's Dark Strike is 13, and the max hit of Dark Wave is 25. Dagius and his clones have 25% chance to hit through your prayer, though. If you bring him to 75% health, he will clone two clones of itself. The clones will start surrounding you, and will make a quick shuffle, so you don't know which is the real one. You will have to attack the right one to let the clones disappear. The clones look exactly the same as Dagius. Both Dagius and the clones use Dark Strike. When he is on 50%, he will heal himself each 10 seconds by 5, and he will clone three clones. These use Dark Strike as well. When he's on 25%, he will heal itself every 20 seconds by 12, activate a shield which lowers the received damage by 37%, and will create five clones. Dagius will heal himself for half while the clones are visible. So he would heal 6 every 20 seconds, instead of 12. Dagius is weak against Stab attacks. It has pretty high defence.[/hide] Dagius's Staff [hide=Information]- Requirements: At least 16 magic. - Examine: The only way to cast Dark spells. Can be used to autocast the Dark spells. Dark spells drain the opponent's Prayer Points by a maximum of 10% of the hit. The staff is the only way to cast the spells, as the spells are'nt in any spellbook.[/hide] [hide=Bonuses]- Attack: - - Stab: +2 - - Slash: +4 - - Crush: +34 - - Magic: +19 - - Ranged: -1 - Defence: - - Stab: +0 - - Slash: +0 - - Crush: +0 - - Magic: +4 - - Ranged: +0 - Other: - - Strength: +0 - - Prayer: -3[/hide] [hide=Spells]Dark strike: - Magic level: 16. - Maxhit: 10. - Runes: 1 mind, 2 air, 1 soul. - Effect: Drains the opponent's Prayer Points by 10% of the hit. Dark bolt: - Magic level: 38. - Maxhit: 14. - Runes: 1 chaos, 4 air, 1 soul. - Effect: Drains the opponent's Prayer Points by 11.2% of the hit. Dark blast: - Magic level: 62. - Maxhit: 18. - Runes: 1 death, 6 air, 2 souls. - Effect: Drains the opponent's Prayer Points by 12.5% of the hit. Dark wave: - Magic level: 78. - Maxhit: 22. - Runes: 1 blood, 8 air, 2 souls. - Effect: Drains the opponent's Prayer Points by 15% of the hit.[/hide] Dagius's Hood [hide=Information]- Price: 380K. - Requirements: 45 magic. - Examine: The hood of Dagius, the strongest dark wizard.[/hide] [hide=Bonuses]- Attack: - - Stab: +0 - - Slash: +0 - - Crush: +0 - - Magic: +9 - - Ranged: -2 - Defence: - - Stab: +0 - - Slash: +0 - - Crush: +0 - - Magic: +6 - - Ranged: -4 - Other: - - Strength: +0 - - Prayer: -2[/hide] Dagius's Top [hide=Information]- Requirements: 45 magic. - Examine: The robe top of Dagius, the strongest dark wizard.[/hide] [hide=Bonuses]- Attack: - - Stab: +0 - - Slash: +0 - - Crush: +0 - - Magic: +21 - - Ranged: -4 - Defence: - - Stab: +2 - - Slash: +2 - - Crush: +0 - - Magic: +18 - - Ranged: -4 - Other: - - Strength: +0 - - Prayer: -4[/hide] Dagius's Bottom [hide=Information]- Requirements: 45 magic. - Examine: The robe bottom of Dagius, the strongest dark wizard.[/hide] [hide=Bonuses]- Attack: - - Stab: +0 - - Slash: +0 - - Crush: +0 - - Magic: +15 - - Ranged: -3 - Defence: - - Stab: +1 - - Slash: +1 - - Crush: +0 - - Magic: +12 - - Ranged: -4 - Other: - - Strength: +0 - - Prayer: -3[/hide] [hide=Additional Information]If you wear the full set of Dagius, including the staff, you can operate a part to activate a dark magical shield, which lowers received damage by 25% against players, and 37% against NPC's, and all magic attacks by 100% against both players and NPC's. Every 10 seconds, it will distract your Prayer Points and Magic level by 1. After 15 seconds, it vanishes. Every 2 seconds while not using the magical shield, allow you to use the shield for 1 second. You can use it for 15 seconds as a maximum, so 30 seconds charging is enough. Operate a robe part again to deactivate the shield.[/hide] Supporters [hide=Supporters]Count: 5 1. Danil445 2. Mrmegakirby 3. zaaps1 4. Albel_8492ed 5. lordragonknight 6. Von_Goon 7. a b c 8. Great_one
mage bonus on the stuff is way overpowered. oh well it would be free money for me as i could just put on karils and a whip and camp him for a few 1k kills for 10 staffs each thousand and 12 robe pieces each thousand. seriously i would just 4 or 5 hit him so healing and clone are no biggie i suppose around 1.5m/hour cash for the first 3 hours its out and there are already 2k sets ingame

Zaaps1
Great idea! Just one thing, a ladder to the basement of Dark Wizard's Tower seems a bit....unsuited for a boss monster. If you look at the other monsters they are in remote/hard to get to locations (GWD and kill count, Wilderness, Kalphite hive/desert, etc.). My suggestion would be to create a harder way to access this boss. I don't mean like a huge dungeon and such, but at least a maze similar to the Gnome Village maze, possibly with traps? After all, wouldn't the strongest dark wizard want his privacy? : (support, btw) ~It's Super Effective! a b c
Nice idea, what if after you kill it like 5 times you get teleported out by the other mages? That would make it harder OR you must kill the wizards for get 3 keys for open the door he's. Just giving ideas still i support
Moonshadow
The max hit of the spells make the difference, not the equipment. I would try to steer away from the regular spells though, maybe a different standalone spell? Or something not in the strike/bolt/blast/wave family. And... Tentacle monsters?
Danil445
I changed the location, and gave it runite drops. I also made it F2P. Proud owner of the Quest Cape since 31/08Quest suggestion: The Shadow of a Delver
Sid Icarus
Why F2P?
Danil445
Why F2P? 'coz f2p should get a taste of boss fights, if free players like it, they should be interested in the other bosses, encouraging them to subscribe. Also, the only challenges in P2P are the revenants and Elvarg at the moment. Zaaps1
Just a small thing, you put (P2P) next to the Dark wave spell even though you've stated the staff is p2p and all the spells require souls. Looking at that actually, this would be a great update along with the Soul Altar. ~It's Super Effective!
