Do you like to doodle?

I was browsing through an old science book to recap something when I noticed all my margins were littered with doodles, Big or small... I brought the book into school and showed my friends, I told them what I could see but all they saw were pointless scribbles that were " a waste of ink" as one person put it...

I find doing doodles helps pass the time during lessons, maybe that is why I can see certain things in my drawings because I am drawing out what my mind is thinking but in a different way.

I also am one of the few kids in my classes who do doodle, so I get introuble for putting "graffiti" in my book, which is really frustrating because I do it without realising, maybe doodling is genetic :o (both my parents doodle)

My doodles vary alot, from weird patterns to face and just plain pencil scribbles, I can see certain messages through my doodle (sometimes)... (I'll try upload some)

So, are you guys doodlers? or don'tlers?(oh god that was terrible.)

I doodle a lot on the diaries that the school gives us to help organise ourselves. There are pictures of people on this years one, so I decided to draw glasses and facial hair on them. ::' If I get time i'll get a picture of my diary from last year, to show how much I can put on it. I also split the cover so I can get more drawing room!!!

I doodle on a lot of my math papers. I know a lot of the stuff in my math class already, so when my teacher starts going over a concept I already know how to do, then I will start to doodle all over the papers. They start as a few lines, then start growing more complex as it go's on. Sometimes they are just the scribbles that I make to get the ink flowing in a red pen, and then I expand upon those few circles and make designs.

Yeah I get bored easily at school. I want to do something... so I dothe only thing I can do. Doodle on my notebooks. It's usually just a bunch of random lines scribbled on top of each other.

when I'm angry or pissed off I make whirlpools of ink to look like tornadoes....

then I draw pretty flowers and it calms me down...

it also helps me focus on something boring... because I made that boring prattle kinda interesting.

I keep all pen on paper on my notebooks though... #-o

When I was younger, I used to doodle on my books a lot. Now however, I like my exercise books to be neat and tidy, as those doodles tend to distract me when I read over my work again.

Besides, pen spinning does the exact same thing for me. :P

My relaxation method involves a bottle of lotion, beautiful women, and partial nudity. Yes I get massages.

I doodle if I have nothing else to do. Good way to waste time, even though I suck at it.

Yes, and I still doodle! (Probably not the only one.)

I doodled so much that I am going to school for art!

Heh, you drew your sig? You could go to art school, it might be something for you.

I was going to eat hot dogs for dinner tonight. I think I will settle for cereal.

I used to doodle, before I found how annoying it was to read a doodled-in book. The reason? In schools in my area, apparently it's ok to make notes/write down the homework in your textbook. I suppose the opinion varies a lot.

Before I thought it was annoying, I thought it gave more of a personality to the books. Which it does, I suppose.

I always used to draw really bizarre cartoony characters. Hard to describe.
