POH-Layout

Hmm, do you want people to comment on your layout? I'm not really sure what you want... :-k

I personally like it, except maybe you could've placed the chapel closer to the portal considering if you want to train Prayer.

this probably belongs in help and advice.

but that is by no mean useful.

The efficient houses have portals and chapel next to the entrance portal with the quest hall for glory costume room and workshop and study all quite near by as well.

Your has everything most useful miles away from or on a different floor to the entrance.

When i said usefull i ment having everything usefull, not placed well for power leveling where you have to enter and exit the house. Still you have the workshop placed near the entrance for running back and forth from bank making flatpacks and the chapels near throne room for getting bones from oubliette after sending someone into their death.

you need to chose your words carefully.

A functional poh has everything you can find use for.

A useful/efficient poh has everything you can find use placed in a way that it works to an optimum level

Paint Ftw?

Ot: ye looks good, but its each to there own when it comes to building your poh,

unless your gonna making everything easy to use for power leveling,

Theres a fine line between not listening and not caring,

I like to think I walk this line every day.

Pinning blame on Jagex is like trying to put pants on an old man.

You both know he needs them, but he'll just keep dancing around, avoiding them at all costs.

You could still have it symmetrical and make it far more efficient.

Portals and chapel/s need to be closer to the portal. I'm a big fan of that look, symmetric, but when it comes time for leveling, you're going to have a hard time.

Hmm, you really need to put Construction in the title or something. Makes it easier for me to find! :P

Anyways, about your house layout. It wastes quite a bit of room space, 27 rooms in all. That'll be a hell of a build once you reach level 70, when you can build a dungeon. At level 74 you can only build 25 rooms, so you'd have to level to 86 before you could complete your house, while you could've started a dungeon 16 levels before! Now about the layout you have planned.

The fact that you've separated your house with the QH and SH means that you need to duplicate everything you have. I'd recommend placing all staircases towards the end of your main house. This'll allow for a more efficient house and a smoother look. You've also planned the portals on the second floor. I highly recommend against building portal chambers on anything except the ground or underground floors. This allows for quicker access and more efficient use. You've also separated your portal and house by quite a bit, I'd recommend placing your portal towards the center of your house because with the current dimention limitations, having your house completely in one direction isn't possible.

The throne room is placed a bit too far away from the house, but of course, thats because you probably wont reach 60 construction all that quickly, so you'd want to top out your house with a throne room. I'd say leave a space for it near the center or near the entrance of the house to allow for more visitors to stream there and for an easier access to your dungeon. Other than that, you would definitely want to cut down on the space taken up by the excess rooms as I noted before. To give you a suggestion, go to the RuneHQ HousePlanner and enter this code:

TENDMVTOFDRUTTGDUVTXHUASEETUEREJUEMVUMEEQQUQDEUWUVIkUOVEPFMUVMMFQMVQIlQKVUJlUJGMXXNLXQRXVL

It includes a dunegon plan and uses all of the rooms in a neat and accesable way. I'll also work on a new plan for you in the meantime. If you have any more questions, PM me. I'll be happy to answer! ::'

EDIT: I've finished your house plan. It seems to be perfect in my eyes :P . Here's the code:

No offence but the house plans of the guy above me and god awful.

Both only have 1 portal chamber when you need 2.

Why 2?

portals can be directed to 7 places.

One of these is the watchtower aka yanille.

House in Yanille leaves 6 portals, eg 2 portal chambers

The op plan far exceeds your suggested one

Hmm, that is a good point Paw Claw. I've just never needed to use more than the 3 portals I currently have and the teleports the my glory ammy cover. For him I guess I could edit out a useless room and add in an extra portal room if ya wish.

EDIT: Here's a new house plan. It includes the second portal room, but it can be placed farther away from the functional rooms as when training, you only need one portal to use. It'll be up to you which one it is that you do use.

This is my house:

DIWTIRDPITMRTQNDUITUHDYWTYDUIREOLUOGEQKUQDEWLUUDEYUUbPFMFVMQFQMVQJFWEVWQFYUVZOGQTWRSGYUHZX

Well the plans of what my house will be when finished at least.

Designed to be useful for power training, have fun rooms in it as well eg games room etc AND solve my hatred of doors (on rooms other than gardens) that lead to no-where

as in the door is there and goes nowhere not doors that are removed as they hit a wall

I just didn't care using a lot of time making it in a more complex drawing program.

I just can't resist showing my house layout here. :P It also has a little dungeon and a first flour with 3 combat rooms (one for combat ring, ranging pedestals and balance beam ;) so check out the other floors too).

Go to Runehq's house planner

And use this house plan code: SQFSXESbITMJjMJTSGjTLDUVTURTbPUNKkNLEQTUQSkRIEVVUUREYWUYDVMMlMMVSHlTLFUUVURVZOWQQGVXWWNWaQ

This layout is not my idea, I found a part of it on youtube and improved it. I hope you like it :)

EDIT: I hadn't build the whole layout yet, i was 68 construction, but I'm playing on an other account currently.

oh oh oh....count me in...love showing off my poh layout..not a mem yet but got my perfect house already laid out...

check out my web page on runescape wikia... http://runescape.wikia.com/wiki/User:Drixomanbeta

unlike some of layout I seen, this is strictly not for powering or efficiency..rather I tried to designed so it actually resemble a real house...i made it a transportation hub so the first quest hall has glory and downstair has two chamber..albeit a little farther....
