best armour to slay blue dragons

I got a slayer task of blue dragons it has been a while since I played.

 

 

 

What is best armour for melee the dragons with whip?

 

 

 

I am 76 att

 

78 str.

 

74 def

 

78 hp

 

 

 

combat is 94

Barrows, preferably torag's or dharok's. Don't forget your antifire shield.

 

 

 

Ranging them is easy. Just tele'ing to your house and recharging pray after each run and bringing like 1 prayer potion is also a viable option.

Range them using the best gear you can get, fairly simple. Afterwards just tele to a bank (duelling ring?), bank, tele to a Taverly house and repeat.

One thing I reccommend though, unless you don't care about time, is baby blues, you can safely melee them without an anti dragon shield, and are so much weaker than their mothers.

 

 

 

So you can get the task over quickly, and get on to a better task.

i wouldnt recomend it with your stats. but if u still want melee xp, you could use a d hally.

 

and blues are a great task, money ftw.

You're lucky you got that task, but range them, don't bother wasting food by melee, just use your best dhide armour and a good bow or x-bow or thrown objects and go to taverley dungeon and slaughter the dragons.

Best spot is by the Heros Quest lava eel fishing spot. You could cannon too, if that suited you, although I don't see much benefit.

Yeah, barrows or even rune would be fine. Bring an antifire sheild and an antifire pot so you don't take any damage from their breath. You should be fine, just keep an eye on your health they his like 11ish.
