Went back to a much older game: Submarine Titans

A RTS that takes place entirely underwater, Lasers, Torpedos and even Aliens settling their score several thousand feet under.

Just beat borderlands 2. Have to say, I was really freaking impressed by the game. Everything about it just made me happy to play it. My first play through was around 67 hours. Now that I can do a second one with TVHM I cannot see this game getting old anytime soon.

I've been considering far cry 3, but I think it's a case of all games that I watch a lets play of look whether its a game I would like or not. As a general rule, I don't like FPS, so probably a bad idea I'll stay away from. I do like third person though.

Most recent new game is Metro 2033, which I picked up for free on the FB promotion. Hard game. It's schooling me, but it's kind of neat, especially for a FPS.

I rented Assassins Creed 2 the other day. I can't seem to get hooked to it. I mean its not a bad game but nothing compels me to play it. Frustrates me in places though.

My relaxation method involves a bottle of lotion, beautiful women, and partial nudity. Yes I get massages.

I bought Assassin's Creed 2 the other day. I'm hooked to it. It's a good game that keeps me wanting to play it. Frustrates me in places though.

GOTY edition was 25 bucks, such a ridiculous jump in quality from the first, so much so I'm considering picking up the others as well, if I see them cheap, for sure. Other games I've been getting into are Driver San Francisco and Portal 2, which I both got when I got my new PS3. Also have Rayman Origins sitting there, I'll try that some other day.

The first Assassin's creed was absolute crap compared to this one. I agree with you fully there. They really picked up their game.

I'm finally getting the complete collection edition of AoE3 sometime this week, absolutely loved the AoE series (owned AoE gold version and AoE2 + conquerors expansion) and star wars galactic battlegrounds based on AoE2 engine. What's the multiplayer like on AoE3 is it still active?

Just started and finished playing To The Moon that I bought a few months back but never got around to playing it.

Let's just say, while the game play is a bit lacking, I don't think I have ever seen a better storyline in a 3h game, honestly.

Picked up Mass Effect 3 today, which is going on the pile. It was an oppourtunity buy, on sale, to avoid needing EA's version of steam (wasn't going to happen).

Now I realize I need to finish my replay through of Mass Effect 1, which means I also need to get through Mass Effect 2 again

This could take a while >.>

Last game I bought was Need for Speed Hot pursuit. Always loved NFS games, might get the new Most wanted eventually. Also bought the first DLC on Borderlands 2. I know stated this before, but I am still hooked to this game. It really is sad how much I've played this game :?

I totally did, but this was kind of unforeseen. I had actually forgotten about this game, and I wasn't expecting to come across it it so soon for so little. With any luck, Dead Space 3 will be the next game I get, and then I'll have to take a break for like 4 months to get through everything.

Always wanted to play that series, but now I am really surprised that 1 and 2 are on steam, but 3 is on Origin O_o;;

I got my check change from the shcool yesterday. I put 100$ of it on Steam and bought the following games.

Ace Combat Assault Horizons;Enhanced edition-$35

Front Mission Evolved-$10

The Secret World-$30

So I have $25 leftover. I don't know what else to get, but I shall save it for a day on something worth getting.

Dmc. It was okay. The story was really predictable, I would have liked more surprises. The default difficulty was too easy. The bosses were visually interesting but too easy to figure out, just the generic "hit the stuff that glows".

I got Dead Space 3. There are things I can't say I am terribly fond of, and I haven't figured out the ammo system yet (if it's 1:1 for every single weapon, machine guns are going to suuuuuuuuuuuck). At first the game felt almost cartoony because they made actual living people fall apart (and I do mean "fall apart" not "be dismembered"). The necromorphs are also unsatisfyingly resilient to being dismembered and I don't know why, because dismembering necromorphs is the entire point of the flipping game!.

I also have issues with the number of regenerating enemies in the game (any number greater than one constitutes a war crime in my books), but that's a personal issue, and on the up side, I might actually get over my fear of this type of enemy, or at least learn to chill out when facing one, which would boost my enjoyment of the entire series.

I also hear the game has a lot of cut scenes, and if true, I am going to find this endlessly amusing. In Deadspace 2, it was a stated goal to have as few cut-scenes in the game as possible. Whenever they could, they instead used scripted events, and way more quick time events than should be allowed (still, not even close to being in the same league as resident evil). I actually like the cut scenes, especially if it means less quick time events, but I feel like I did going from the second to third harry potter movie. It's like they changed directors, the games are quite different as a result, and I'm not sure I like it.

All that aside, it's actually a great game, and they did keep a lot of the stuff that made the others great. They are still doing an amazing job with the atmosphere, and the screaming people made a return from the second game (witnessing the panic right at the start of it hitting the fan) which I was very happy to see. The game still feels a bit weird, but it's a deadspace game through and through. I also sincerly hope this is my last EA game ever, because the DLC for this is the most infuriating combination of things you want and the equivalent of the oblivion horse armour.

Unfortunately, I think at the end of the day Deadspace 2 will still be my favourite. It only has one regenerator, dismemberment is a bit more satisfying, and it doesn't have a love triangle.
