Mainly just the people you'd have to deal with. No wai! :lol: I am a junior in high school, and I got my first job in June working for Mickey D's, or for those of you who don't know, good old McDonalds. I make a grand total of $7.00 an hour, which is about 35 cents above minimum wage. Woot!! \ :lol: (Made about $1,400 this summer, so thats nice) I get a free meal every time I work (it's not that bad, I can get salads and snack wraps, along with taking out the fries if I want) and I get a 50% discount if I buy something when I work and I get a 10% discount if I come in anytime. $1,400 You say? I am so getting a job there! $1400 for a summer isn't that great. I'm going to be making about that for 9 Saturdays of work. DaN Posted August 27, 2008 Share Posted August 27, 2008 Start of this year I was an IT Technician at $50-60 an hour, but I didn't work allot of hours, as a subcontractor I spent allot of time driving around working when I felt like it. Now I'm a truck driver (Quite a change from IT) work 8am-2pm. Pretty much else I do though and couple of my mates leaving soon. Dont really give me enough work though and the pay isn't great so always looking for a better job. Student to I suppose.
