limpbizkit
If you didn't think it was great it's because you just went from the beginning to the end, doing little to nothing on the side. Bioshock was a solid game. I enjoyed the little bit of realization near the middle of the game (Why are you doing everything he says without question? I thought it was a great thing to bring up). However it pretty much copied System Shock 2's plot twists exactly, and I preferred System Shock 2's story. (And while Bioshock is obviously more modernized and easier to play, and probably a bit more fun, I do think System Shock 2 was more in depth). DEPTH! Exactly what Bioshock lacked. It was so boring doing the same things over and over and before it happened the twists were easy to spot. You do the same all the way through. I never played SS2 so I can't make a fair comparison of the two, and not everyone found Bio's gameplay that fun, but you cannot say that it lacked depth. Just read a few articles. http://bioshock.wikia.com/wiki/BioShock_Wiki They don't just shove the whole story in your face. You have to really pay attention to what's happening and the environment to get the whole thing. Just doing the stuff you have to do to complete it only gets you a small portion of the story. For example, if you just go from beginning to end, you never find out how Dr. Suchong got owned  Get back here so I can rub your butt. Bloodstain
Possibility for multiplayerness. Vs mode. Imagine. You and a few buds as big daddies beating the [cabbage] out of eachother... As big daddies. Or a possible co-op mode. One player as a big daddy, the other as Jack. If you can somehow manage Jack's return to Rapture into the storyline. highly doubt jack will return since he was on his deathbed But this doesn't take place directly after the end of the end scene, just ten years after Jack left. (supposedly Tenenbaum removed the rapid aging effect) But remember, what Tenenbaum said happened to you is what she THINKS happened to you. And some info on multiplayer BioShock 2 multiplayer is going to be much more than a tacked-on mode, with 2K Games tapping Digital Extremes to deliver a substantial experience that adds to the lore and fiction of the universe. 2K Games has tapped Unreal contributor Digital Extremes to create a multiplayer mode for BioShock 2 that is every bit as rich and detailed as the single player. Players take on the role of a plasmid test subject for Sinclair Solutions during the fall of Rapture, allowing them to experience yet another aspect of the underwater empire's history as they progress through the multiplayer experience. Iconic locations like the Kashmir Restaurant and Mercury Suites are being reworked from the ground up in order to facilitate a fast-paced multiplayer experience. Speaking of experience, players will gain experience as they play through the multiplayer portions of the game, earning them access to new plasmids and tonics. With hundreds of different combinations available, players will be able to develop their own particular play style, which should lead to some very interesting battles. "The fans asked for a multiplayer experience and we answered," said Christoph Hartmann, president of 2K. "With Digital Extremes delivering a multiplayer experience for BioShock 2 that features all of the things that make BioShock unique, we're holding ourselves to a high standard so that we can deliver the depth and variety that fans of the BioShock universe demand." It really sounds like 2K and Digital Extremes are working hard to ensure that the multiplayer in BioShock 2 is every bit as deep and enjoyable as the single player will be. http://kotaku.com/5245711/bioshock-2-mu ... he-fiction

wormy
I agree with limpbizkit, sure the game had a fantastic back story, but what interesting thing happened plot wise during the game? Other areas that lacked polish; plasmid number and use(I would like to have seen more puzzle based things with them) tonics being too specific, such as sure the wrench gets like 5+ tonics but only allowing weapons their 2 upgrades, seemed lacking. Variety of enemies meeting 2 people who are not splicers, made the whole world seem kinda ridiculous and bland. Repeated environment, to me it felt like I was playing the same map over and over and over. Very easy game, uses surprise scenarios for it's difficulty(wont even get into vita chambers). Would have liked to have seen greater consequences for harvesting/rescuing the Little ones. Script, atmosphere, and back story the game did superbly. So more of that, less of the bland :) and take out hacking was fun at first, then got boring and again repetitious.
Alg
Ahhh plasmids... There are maybe 3-4 attack plasmids worth using, and usually a gun/wrench works far better, or does the same thing *points to Chemical Thrower*... Necromagus
I would've gone with the start of Rapture's civil war as the story, but I'm willing to see what they're going to do with it. I don't like the sound of 'adopting', sounds like half the gameplay is going to be escort missions. Also, I hope they do something about the Natural Camouflage tonic being so overpowered. I love Winter Blast, but there really isn't any use for it. :? Killing frozen enemies wastes the loot, I can usually autohack Security pretty soon, Security Cameras don't really need the flow slowdown.. And I could use that overflowing amount of Liquid Nitrogen that can be found.. well.. pretty much everywhere after Arcadia. #-o Cyclone Trap, not worth using in the first one... Cant wait for the Combinable Plasmids, though :D Neither is Insect Swarm. Unless you happen to face a large pile of Splicers. I too hope that they seriously prop up some of the Plasmids. Some Splicers might look like they are able to use Electro Bolt (the ones that have electricity running all over their body) if one of the electric currents comes at you, but it doesn't harm you. The electric ones just have immunity against your Electrical attacks. (Electro Bolts, Electric Gel, Static Discharge) Fontaine can use Electrical attacks, though. Juhnie
Found these from the BioShock Wiki. [*:hw0wjat6] The Game will feature flashback missions depicting how your character became a Big Daddy."As you proceed through a modern day rapture and jog your amnesia-stricken memory you'll experence playable scenarios set in Raptures earlier days allowing you to directly experence the cities past from a new prospective." [*:hw0wjat6] Multiplayer: Multiplayer will see players act as plasmid test subjects BEFORE the fall of Rapture in familiar locations including Kashmir Restaurant and Mercury Suites. The experience system will feed into weapon, plasmid and tonic unlocks. You play as one of eight selectable splicers each with humorous dark dialouge that plays off their history. However they are customizable. As you level up and become more powerful your character begins to degrade and mutate into a more traditional splicer. So far only two have been reveled Jacob, a former welder turned Adam addict and Barbara a home maker who turned to Adam to protect her family from the growing civil war. In addition between matches the player characters can visit their apartments and explore. During matches Player Splices can find Armor and become Rosie Big Daddies. Apparently all this can be found in the Gamepro Magazine June edition. Anyone able to confirm? : *excited* Master of Attack ~ August 29th, 2010Proud to have served the awesome Tip.It Crew <

Helps because they'll often stand still when hit with it, and if there's a "dead" splicer you can hit it with insect swarm and they won't get up, but will still die. Command the Murderous Chalices!
