PURESMITHER
Hi, this is Typhoontoby and I need some help on multiple skills to help me get my quest cape. Please could you leave advice on how to train certain skills, not on how to do quests. I have about 1.5 mil to spend. Thanks in advance! Woodcutting - 66/72 - I'm thinking willows or teaks? Thieving - 53/63 - Should I stick with master farmers? Herblore - 52/57 - Don't have a clue. Smithing - 59/69 - Don't have a clue. Crafting - 62/66 - Don't have a clue, but I have several hundred banked gems from MTK. Thanks again, -Typhoontoby Proud Legionairre of the 10th Legion of Kandarin.Search for "The 10th Legion of Kandarin" on RSOF to join a small, friendly clan!270 Quest Points and countingRemember - In the gene pool, there is no life guard. :PYou're not getting my point. Kellis
Woodcutting, teaks are best. You won't make any money, but you won't lose much either. Just keep on cutting and dropping until your mind is dead with boredom, then do some more. Buying and then reselling a dragon woodcutting axe might be beneficial if you don't have one and things are just going too slow. It just gets really bogged down at 70+. I'm not sure on most of the others, but cut those gems immediately. That'll give you a nice chunk of experience, and you're so close in that skill that you might just be able to buy d'hide for the rest.

kdtaereo
Woodcutting = Teaks Thieving = Piramid Plunder or Blackjacking Herb = Super Energies and resell then Smith = If you have a nice source of cash, go gold with the gauntlets, if no, just smelt iron with ring of forging Craft = You got some gems, then use then to make bracelets then alch, the remaining go with green d'hide/flax @santana_raphaelI'm retired from Runescape due to my really bad connection, maybe coming back soon
King_Ankh
I'm on the same boat as you (five quests to quest cape!) so I will attempt to offer you some advice. The only skill I still have to raise for quest reqs is smithing (currently 65). Woodcutting: Teaks are probably the best exp, otherwise willows. Getting 72 shouldn't be too hard. Thieving: Get your thieving to 55 and then blackjack your way to 63. It's super fast experience. If you get bored, don't forget that a lot of quests give thieving experience as rewards! Herblore: I did super attack pots to 57, but that's just me. Smith: If you have the money smelt gold with gauntlets. If not, superheating mith is an option. Craft: I made emerald bracelets to from 63 to 66 and then sold them on the GE. You can definitely break-even. Hope I helped and good luck with your goal for a quest cape :D
Hantoumei
Woodcutting: Yeah, teaks or willows are best, but if you want you can also start Rocking Out and use the deposit box in rimmington. Thieving: Blackjacking Heblore: You can boost this from 56 if you wanted to, otherwise just do whatever loses the least money (super energies or prayer pots i believe) Smithing: Either smelt some gold with the goldsmithing gauntlets, or make iron with the ring of forging, or make stackable mithril items at the blast furnace(60 smithing) Crafting: If you do the smithing first, you can use the gold bars with your gems for some good experience, bracelets are good, and battlestaves are a good bonus as well. purewcnub
They nerfed black-jacking badly, so just use master farmers for theiving. Make iron bars with the ring of forging, as you get smithing exp and make money, i don't know about the rest. I used willows and yews for woodcutting. They didn't, people sometimes have problems double blackjacking in one go, so they claim it is nerfed.

Sam
Woodcutting - 66/72 - Maples are good, and they sell easily Thieving - 53/63 - Should I stick with master farmers? Yes Herblore - 52/57 - If you have sufficient funds, make the best potions you can, and buy grimy so you can get extra exp from cleaning the herbs Smithing - 59/69 - Make gold bars with smithing gauntlets - complete family crest to get these. Crafting - 62/66 - Cut all your gems (presuming they are within your crafting level). Have a go at tanning hides aswell ;) GL getting your quest cape. 2257AD.TUMBLR.COM
