I'm so used to heavy stuff right now, most Grind has become light listening. An amazing song to headbang to: Raped By Elephants by Torsof*ck. I hurt my neck headbanging to that. Cannibal Corpse have always seemed pretty pathetic to me, to be honest. If you're looking for the upper boundaries of sound, then Harsh Noise is where it's at, like Masonna. Seriously, when it's a 3 minute song and the intro takes up half of it, it gets annoying. An interesting piece of trivia that I learnt from the metal archives is that apparently two of the guys in Torsof**k used to be in Finnish band Demigod, which released a highly acclaimed old school death metal album called Slumber of Sullen Eyes. Dissection was fairly brutal, the singer killed some guy in germany and like wrote the bible of satan, its not deathmetal and the music isn't that extreme (although good) but its, kind of...
