battleben 0 Posted December 18, 2011 I understand how this discussion could be important to the thread, however please keep this rule in mind:1.1 - Breaking or encouraging others to break any of Jagex's rulesThis includes but is not limited to: Discussing how to cheat, hack, or otherwise manipulate the game. Explain how we are discussing HOW TO do that? I was merely asking for pictures of results.
brunokiller 358 Posted December 18, 2011 There is a quest that uses an instanced Ess Mine. "Wanted!" If you're just pafting randomly it happens WAY too often to be a random quest instance, and there are actually people/bots mining there if you run around. Camdozaal 0 Posted December 20, 2011 Quick way of checking if an area is instanced is to look at the co-ords given by the dev console. If it changes dramatically every time you teleport in (at least in the case of Dungeoneering) then it's instanced. The Essence Mine is unlikely to be instanced seeing as multiple people use it at a time. Camdozaal the Cartographer[qfc]74-75-179-63374401[/qfc]

Also that is only partially correct, some places that have pretty static coordinates have turned out to be PA's

essiw 143 Posted December 20, 2011 Couldn't that green strip of land be a balloon crash site? Not sure as I didn't crash it the last time I did the quest and the first time was years ago. Retired item crew I would like to be credited as essiw at the website update & corrections forum. Thanks! If you want to add me in game, add "essiw".

Kaida23 769 Posted December 21, 2011 Isn't the Freaky Forester random in a circular clearing surrounded by trees? It's been a while since I did it. Check out my blog to read the Adventures of a Big Damn (F2P) Hero. THE place for all free players to connect, hang out and talk about how awesome it is to be F2P. So, Kaida is the real version of every fictional science-badass? That explains a lot, actually...

Just to give this a response:Ellac did not accuse anyone of discussing how to do this stuff; he(?) simply posted to remind people of the rule BEFORE it drifted into such discussion. The idea being to avoid a later issue on the topic and refresh peoples memories so they don't accidentally break a rule. Howlin0001 67 Posted December 21, 2011 Found north of the Entrana dungeon. It seems that it's Taverly dungeon, you can see a bit more of the dungeon to the east/south-east of Entrana dungeon as well. Possible the part of the Lumbridge swamp? Seen from the south of the Law altar Not sure where that is? Seen from the east of the Law altar. Nature altar can be seen from the west of the Law altar. Death altar is west of the chaos altar (I'm not sure why I think it's the death altar though...). Flash Powder place can be seen north of the extra-dimensional abyss area Some nice water detail there. Seen south of the cavern in the Gu'Tanoth region (fairy ring alp) Two areas used in the Chosen commander quest. The quest version of the throne room can be see north of the agility room. Seen east of the bandos throne agility room Whole strip of this can be seen going from north-west to south-west of the Bandos throne agility room. Dorgesh-Kaan can be seen south of the Zanaris. Some room to the south-east of the evil chickens' lair. Cosmic altar is west of the death altar. There is an instance of Draynor just north of the Cosimc altar. Starflower Plain can be seen west of the Cosmic altar. Freaky Forester event can be seen in the north-west corner of Grail Castle area. To the west of the Starflower plain you can see two ships, possible the Trawler vessels? 3 different levels in this picture. Seen from the fairy ring under Canifis. Ring_World 753 Posted December 21, 2011 Death PA. I didnt bring an orb of occulus but theres a random cliff up there as well, perhaps one of you can find the hard copy of this. Also as an added bonus, heres what happens if you mess with the game to think your in multiple PA's at once. In this picture the game doesnt know which dungeon style im in so it loads both of them and the floors dont match up properly either. Perhaps this can be useful information if you are interested in how PA's work.
