X V3 N 0 M X
Hey, I'm trying to use a method of making Runescape videos where you don't type out the text during the recording, but instead adding it in when you are editing it. Thus, avoiding any confusion or to bypass the filter. I've been looking into "Runescape fonts" and I've found many sources that all give the same one. It's close to the real Runescape font however it has several flaws from the Runescape updates where they've altered their fonts. Here are all the flaws of the fonts, I've typed out the first row of text in-game, then I added the second row with the font using Bold and a shadow: The thing is, that if you simply use the font without bolding it, it's pretty close (still some flaws like the slash through the 0's), but using bold it alters the font sizing which makes it inaccurate. So is anyone good with font editing and will be willing to fix the font? It's hard because you have to make it so that when you bold it, it's just like Runescape, but most font editors don't allow you to edit the font in bolded form. Please help, this could be very useful in many ways for others and me. ;) Thanks X V3 N 0 M X,
Sam
I believe you can find the Runescape font on BloodVeld. 2257AD.TUMBLR.COM
X V3 N 0 M X
I'm using the same font. But it's not completely accurate like I've said. Thanks X V3 N 0 M X,
Sam
Oh right. You probably can't get exactly the same font, it's probably copyrighted by Jagex. 2257AD.TUMBLR.COM
X V3 N 0 M X
It is? Because I was thinking about using a font editor to make the corrections... What if I were to give credit to Jagex each time I used it? :? Thanks X V3 N 0 M X,
pryomancer
As long as you give full credit to JaGEx and don't sell your work for any sort of financial gain then it will be fine.

dragoonson
You could like take the letters of the real font, and use them as seperate images in your fake?Just of the ones that are different,of course. so i herd u liek devarts? If you look at me and feel offended by my 666-ism,think.I could be just as offended by your "cross".[hide=This's why I'm hot]The Eleventh Commandment:Thou Shalst only say "Amen, brother".Amen, brother :lol:Amen, brudda (referring to the 10th commandment)amen Bruder! X V3 N 0 M X
Well I'm actually trying to use the font in videos so I don't have to type out the words in-game, instead, just adding them in while I'm editing the video. Edit: I've retyped the whole thread to be more clear. Thanks X V3 N 0 M X,

dsavi
Your problem is that the program you're using is antialiasing the font, specifically using the Cleartype method, which is messing it up. If you use Gimp, you can turn it off.
X V3 N 0 M X
Well actually, when a font is changed to the bolded style, it basically adds a pixel to the original ones to make it "thicker", and the old font just makes it so that it clumps together rather than appearing like the ones from Runescape, also, the time the font was made was quite a while ago, as you can see the 0 does not have a slash through it, and the money sign is also shaped differently.
