They are fine. It isn't a generic 3rd party ban, it's a series of rules the 3rd party program has to follow. And tip.it follows them.

As was stated by evil_mumm_ra , microhelper is legal to use and in fact before it was ever approved for use on tip.it, Jagex was contacted to be sure that we wouldn't be breaking any of their rules.

I'm not too keen on it, but might try a different one out if anybody can recommend one ::'

 

SwiftKit is quite good, especially if you're in a clan (IRC client, etc.). And yes, of course it's legal.

SK takes up a lot of the screen though. The microhelper actually INCREASES the game window by hiding the Jagex bar.
