Big_Stingman
What has better defensive bonuses? Full torags/ or guthans? Or full dragon? By full dragon I mean dragon platelegs, dragon platebody, and dragon full helm.
Assassin1357
What has better defensive bonuses? Full torags/ or guthans? Or full dragon? By full dragon I mean dragon platelegs, dragon platebody, and dragon full helm. Full torags has better def than guthans because of the helm but guthans set is more useful and its really cheap now compared to when I bought it. Full dragon would be ok to use if you could afford then entire set but the price of it could repair barrows many times. The plate has dropped a lot, I bought it for min earlier at around 10.3mil

Master_Smither
dragon is 60 def barrows 70 def hmm which will give more def Nothing gives enough defence to stop stupid advice apparenlty  Full dragon is a complete waste of money unless you just want it for looks. Stick with torags or guthans(if you do slayer). Big_Stingman
Mk sounds like guthans, as I like to slay. :
Kellis
Dragon doesn't have amazing defense and will murder your budget forever. Barrows has to be repaired (which I find very bothersome) but even a dozen full repairs will still cost you less than a dragon platebody.
Lord Diddy
If you could save up for Bandos thats possibly the best armor to train in, high defense, str bonuses and doesn't need repairing. As said above barrows is superior in defense compared to dragon.
dogman91100
Lord Diddys right. Bandos sits inbetween both, yet more money is a better option for slayer. If you have a slayer mask, then when i got do slayer, i see alot of people with bandos and slayer on, most of the time accompanied by a gs. If you don't mind the constant reapairing then go guthans. RayOxide
Who the hell wears a barrows helm? Excluding people using the effect. Thus, dharok body and legs are cheaper. :P Dragon is seriously not worth it. Only the skirt and some weapons are. :) I dont need a siggy no moar. davidium
barrows is best of defense...if you can afford dragon you are much better off buying bandos...people use the dragon plate as junk items to trade d claws...if you want to buy some junk...go for dragon  maxed out melee on 10/10/08, current goal: 94/99 cookinglife may be unfair, but why can't it be unfair in my favor?my fake plant died because i forgot to pretend to water it
kdb148
Any non-barrows armor should be considered free, pretty much, since it's an asset that can always be sold back for the amount you paid. Of course, you could always gain or lose money on the resale, but unless you buy something like a D plate while its value is tanking, cost shouldn't be a consideration as long as you can afford the initial price. The grand exchange gives you much more freedom to "rent" certain pieces of armor for nothing, as buying and selling even expensive armors takes but a quick skills necklace teleport to the cooking guild. Armor never stays in my bank longer than a couple of weeks. Check out this cool browser gladiator game!
Sinkhan
With the D plates price almost mimicking the current global economical situation, I'd say in about 2-3 weeks, it might stabilize at around 3 million, possibly even lower. At that point, it won't be that much more expensive to buy it versus barrows and it'll provide almost comparable bonuses. Of course, the advantage here is that it won't ever need to be repaired. Something to fill my sig with until I find a replacement. Also check out my blug

I really don't see Jagex letting it drop below the price of a chain. I am sure they are already mad enough that the long awaited item has already become so cheap but letting it go that low would push them over the edge
Big_Stingman
Yeah I wasn't really looking to buy dragon, I know it's a waste of cash, I just wanted to know if it could compete with barrows, guess not.
