I wielded my mouse-toy to add to my Santa Suit. I hit operate, and my Imp...well..it morphed and meowed like a cat.

Maybe this means you will be able to keep the ice imp even after the christmas event is over. Why else would they add a feature like that to a pet that will only be around for like 2 weeks?

maybe they didnt make those imps right new , they just changed some 001010001011 of the cats , and didnt think about this .

Did you report it? The fact the the Imp morphed gives me the feeling that it's a glitch. The first time I logged in after the Christmass event started, the Stray Dog in Varrock looked like a Snow Imp, but then just changed back into the snow imp (I could tell it wasn't just stacking because when I right-clicked, it said "Shoo-away Snow Imp").
