I think the Buddha Bar series is something you can appreciate as well. do you prefer earlier autechre or later? I think I prefer their earlier work, with Tri as my favorite album. But their later, more abstract, stuff is great too. year i prefer earlier work too, i especially like incunabula, probably my favourite. their later stuff is sort of weak, but better than most imo. Madmanpur3 Posted February 5, 2009 Share Posted February 5, 2009 Enya has some pretty decent ambient songs, Watermark and Lothlorien being my two favorite (of her songs that don't have vocals). If you are a fan of the violin/fiddle then I suggest Mairead Nesbitt, she's amazing. Lastly, Gravity of Love by Enigma is a song that seems to go with rain/storms at night perfectly. Anytime it's dark out and it starts raining I'll just play that song regardless of what I'm doing. I like the track Moya" the best, but they're all fantastic. Explosions in the Sky is also very good.
