The brothers' armour is pretty much the same as the possible drops from the chest: High melee and ranged defense and low magical defense (For the melee brothers at least) Generally, people use magic against the melee brothers and then some melee against Ahrim and Verac. Tweak it around until you like it, and use diamond bolts or better would be my suggestion, but it's not gonna be as effective as maging them. Salamanders suck unless they got updated..? Why would it work well? The actual barrow brothers that you fight do not have the bonuses of the armour. I use slayer dart on Karils every time, I think I've only hit 0's twice. Doubt it's as fast as verac's and it's certainly not as fast as fire wave. Actually they DO have the bonuses of their armours, Karil gets hit constantly because he has ZERO magic level, and magic leve=MAGIC DEFENSE.
