Yeah whenever people ask about places to use the Bonecrusher, I usually recommend they go after Champion's Challenge.

 

yes you can get Banshee before Human/Jogre, etc. There is no preset order to which champion scrolls must be obtained at all.

So I have to defeat all the original champions to face the Human champion, and then to fight the Gnome champion I must kill the newer champions? Maybe for each of the top races (Elves, TzHarr etc.) there will be 3 extra normal ones released to unlock them... Time will tell, I hope they bring them out soon. :^_^:

No, you simply have to defeat 10 Lower Champions to fight the Human Champion. It's entirely possible that the first 10 you kill could, for example, not include Hill Giants but instead include Banshees. You'd then need to kill Hill Giants (and whatever other two champions you have left) to fight the Gnome Champion.

I just defeated my first champion! the Goblin! But when i looked over at my banners on the wall all i saw was a green banner with a crown on it. How can i get the banner to display the face of the champion?

@I am Isyou: Due to the recent Champion's Challenge update, the faces no longer hang on the wall. But you can make the face display on your Imp Flag instead.

 

@Zarohunter: Congratulations! Those scrolls should be relatively painless. As far as I can remember, the drops are decent from those monsters. Lessers aren't so good.. but rune meds are better than nothing.

 

 

 

The new Dungeoneering resource rooms also holds noteworthy implications for champion hunters. It has a room in karamja volcano filled to the brim with lesser demons and imps. You could jump around killing Lessers and Imps, killing an imp every time it got between you and a lesser. Might make Imp a whole lot more painless.

Excellent guide, I like it. I've only just started to actually 'try' for champion scrolls. I got the Goblin and Hobgoblin scrolls purely by accident. I think I got the Goblin scroll just messing around just west of Port Sarim. Can't remember how I got the hobgoblin scroll lol. Since actually trying for scrolls I've gotten the Imp scroll. I think it was probably 100 kills by the Tower of Life (I got lucky I guess). Now I'm trying for the Skeleton scroll. I'm whacking away at the skeletons in the Lumby dungeon (Blood Pact quest) and killed a few hundred with no drop yet.

 

Any suggestions on a good place to try for the skeleton scroll?

 

(oh, and obviously I've finished off our little Irish friend too ;) lol)

Update...switched to Zombies after killing....a lot...of skeletons. Got the Zombie scroll! :D Didn't take too long, at least it didn't seem too long. I got it at the Armoured Zombies. Still trying to find a good place for skeletons. Any recommendations?

I'm not sure of many other good spots, as chaos tunnel skeles are too high level and take too long to kill. Just make sure you're on a high population world and the respawns aren't that bad (if not constant). If I'm missing a spot though, would be cool to find out, even though I have 2 skele scrolls somehow already lol.

Thanks, I'll have to try that spot out. I've been in the Lumby Catacombs and the Edgeville dungeon (by black demons). Haven't had the slightest bit of luck though, so time to try somewhere new. Thanks :)

Woot!! I just got the Lesser Demon scroll after about...500-600 kills!! :D

 

That's 5 down, 5 to go before I can take on the Human champion!!

Skele scroll is only one I have, got it whilst doing barrows.

To be honest, I was going to go back and try for the Skeleton champ again but decided against it. All the champs I have left (with the exception of Banshee) all drop bones. I'll admit...I'm an xp [bleep] :) I hate killing and just leaving bones lying around. I always pick up all my bones and bury them (regular, big, dragon, whatever). This becomes very time consuming when trying for a champ scroll. I've decided to train up Dungeoneering, strictly for the tokens though (I'm already level 65 dung), so that I can buy the 'Bonecrusher'. I really think the Bonecrusher is a must have for anyone going after champ scrolls. It only takes up the 1 inventory spot and saves you tons of time by burying all your bones for you...that can add up to a TON of prayer xp. So anyway...that's where I am now...just need to find a good group to do dungeons with (otherwise I'm only getting 500 tokens a floor :()

Yeah, I haven't mentioned it in the guide but the resource dungeon with the Imps and the Lessers is a pretty fantastic place. However, since the lessers are aggressive while you're hunting imps probably, it isn't all that good if you're hoping to keep track of your imp kills via xp.
