_____________________________________________________

1. Speak to Captain Undak just east of the bank. Ask him if he needs any help. He explains to you that the cave-goblin children from the cities nursery have fallen ill and asks you to accompany him. Once agreed, he will follow you. You must go to the nursery which you can find at the top of the stairs beside the Captain.

2. Head up to the nursery and speak to Mernik, she sends you to speak to her assistant; Torzek. Go outside and speak to her about the children, she is too panicky to say anything, tell her to calm down. Once she is, ask her about what the kids have eaten, she will tell you that the children all ate the food they got, not just the ones who got sick. So you must go and investigate the children.

Note: The foods and the child that are poisoned will be vary from person to person. For myself, Gerdi was sick because she eat Frogburger and frogspawn gumbo.

3. Once you figure out which foods are poisoned, talk to the Captain. He will tell you that the human food merchants put some "specie" into the food, the Captain suspects one of them are H.A.M guards. Go to the merchants downstairs and investigate. You can find the merchants south on the ground floor.

4. Walton is the H.A.M person, arrest him. He will resist and you will have to fight him. Once he is half health, he will turn protect from melee on. Then, a great portal of light appears behind Walton. You tell him to look behind him. Zanik jumps out of the portal! She helps you to finish off the guard and he is taken away by the Captain. You ask Zanik what happened, she will tell you in an interesting cutscene...

5. You are now playing as Zanik! You must climb up the goblin statues and work your way up to the statue with the bowl, it will show a cutscene showing the ill children. Then you must get your way over to the ledge and grab Zaniks Crossbow. Once you have that, grapple across to the throne. Pick up the amulet, all the statues will bow to you now. Look into the bowl again, it will show you being arresting Walton. Make your way to the portal west. All the statues will move for you.

6. Once Zanik has finished telling you the story, you make your way to the top of the town and up the stairs to the council. They talk about on how they must hand over Walton to the humans. The Captain starts to take away Walton, when Zanik shoots him! She then runs off and you must find her and bring her back to the council.

7. Go to the agility course far south of the city. Go down the ladder (make sure to bring a light source!), and go south to find Zanik, sit beside her and make her feel better. Eventually you both will go back to the council. Once there, you can defend Zanik. After choosing all options, Zanik will be banished from the city. Speak to her outside, she will then teleport off.

8. Speak to the Captain, he will thank you for bringing back Zanik. He will then ask you to do another task; to infiltrate the H.A.M base and find out what they're plans are. The Captain will give you a set of H.A.M robes.

9. With your robes equipped, make your way to the H.A.M base outside Lumbridge. Speak to Johnashus Ulsbrecht, ask him about Sigmund and where can you find him. He will tell you he set up his own base in Ardougne, he will tell you to use the password "Arrav".

10. Teleport to Ardougne, before you go to the windmill, it might be a good idea to take some amour and some food. Make your way to the Windmill, talk to the Miller, have all your H.A.M clothing unequipped otherwise he won't let you in. Tell him the password and he will let you in.

11. Go into the base, do not talk to Sigmund or he will throw you out. Go find Sam the guard and thieve him for his letter. Go east to the guard at the prison cell. Give him your letter and he will let you in. Take the prison key and let the goblin out, it is the goblin village commander Grubfoot! You must get him out of there.

12. Before getting him out, go into the smallest room with the wall crack. Go into the locked room via the crack and unlock both doors, go back to Grubfoot.

13. Tell Grubfoot that you'll distract the guard and for him to make a break for. Go to the guard and talk to him in the northern direction. Grubfoot will go across to the next room. Go with him, tell him to wait at the west door. Go into the smallest room and grab the dirty dish plates. The guard will come in and ask was it you. Wait for Grubfoot to get into the next room. Follow Grubfoot when he is there, tell him to follow you and make your way to the big doors on the raised part of the base. The guard will spot you and Grubfoot will paralyse him with a magic attack. Then you both must get out of there via the big door.

14. Once you come out into the next room, a cutscene will take place. A few goblins are attacking the H.A.M people. Zanik is also there attacking the H.A.M's. Sigmund will spot you and fight you, he will put on protect from melee and Zanik will range him as you attack. Once he is near dead, he almost gets away but Zanik cuts off his hand. Zanik will finish him off, you ask what has gotten into Zanik. She is under the control of Bandos! She will attack you, fight her and she will regenerate. Keep killing her and convince her to snap out of it. Eventually Zanik will take off the amulet which is controlling her. The high priest goblin will take the amulet and he will go under the control of Bandos, while Zanik is back to herself.

The priest teleports away and causes an earthquake. Zanik and you will teleport away.

15. Zanik and you end up in a cave somewhere near the goblin city. You talk for a bit and make your way towards the exit. Another earthquake happens. Zanik is trapped and you must free her. Clear the rubble and tell Zanik to use her crossbow. Guide her on where she should point her crossbow.

16. Exit the cave, you will end up beside Juna. She warns Zanik telling her she must return to her destiny. Zanik ignores Juna and you continue back to the city.

17. Once you go and talk to the goblin who leads you to the city. He will tell you about a thing in a gaint glowing suit terrorising the city. You must convince him that Zanik is allowed back into the city.

18. Going into the city a guard will thank the city your back. He will tell you to go to the Captain who is in the middle of the city.Once you get there, you will notice an obelisk. It is a warning to the goblins. Talk to the Captain and he will send you to the council. Once at the council, they will debate on what to do and they will show you the translated warning, it says for the goblins to surrender before Bandos. Zanik convinces the council for them to fight.

19. The scribe will then ask you to assemble a time capsule so the history of the city will stay even if it is destroyed. He will send you to Tegdak who is in the east of the ground floor. Get the box from Tegdak and bring it back to the scribe. He will seal it for you and will then ask you to bring it to Mistag who is just outside the city in the mines.

20. Go to Mistag, he will thank you for the box and ask you to go to Oldak as he thinks he might have a way to help the city. Go to Oldak and you will find him and Grubfoot argueing, he eventually sends you to Turgall in the Agility Course south for items that will help them defend the city.

21. Go to Turgall, he will give you Energy Protectors and a Focusing Chamber. Go back to Oldak, who is now at the portal. (The portal from when you fought Walton.

22. Talk to Oldak, he will give you the modified Crossbow, hand it over to Zanik who will then ask you to check on the children in the nursery. Go to the Nursery and talk to Mernick. She is worried for the children and wants to send them off to the Dwarf city and she asks you to talk to the ambassador about it.

23. The ambassador's house is just north of the nursery. Go and and ask him to let the children go, but he refuses to. Go back to Mernick and return the bad news. Once done, head to the bank and prepare for the fight. Bring food and amour!

24. Go and talk to Zanik and say you are prepared, you will both then head into the portal. The Bandos Avatar (Level 125, uses both a magic and melee attack, try to switch prays to avoid being hit.) will ask for you both to surrender, ingoring it you attack him. Kill him once and he will regenerate like Zanik. The Avatar will then knock Zanik out, smashing the crossbow. You must collect the pieces together again, while collecting them you will be attacked by the statues and you cannot pick up the pieces while being attacked by one of them. Once you picked up the crossbow pieces, assemble it again and kill the Avatar once again, choose the "Use Zaniks crossbow special". It will kill the Avatar. Talk with Zanik and tell her what happened, you both will go back to Dorgesh-Kaan.

A cutscene will occur about the goblins celebrations and then - QUEST COMPLETE! Congratulations on finishing the goblin story line.

TIF moderator darkdude posted this so far, provided only as hints for people who don't want to trawl the thread:

1) Speak to the Captain who is in the east side of the city.

2) Get him to follow you and go up the nearby stairs to get to the nursery.

3) Speak to the goblin inside the nursery who will tell you that the children are sick and you should speak to the assistant outside.

4) Speak to the assistant than calm her down and ask her about the food the children ate, she suggests you speak to the children to figure out which one made the children ill.

5) Speak to the children and work out the two foods, for me they were the Gloop soup and the Spawn Gumbo.

6) Speak to the Captain and tell him you know what food it is, he suggests you speak to the merchants downstairs to find out who they bought these off.

7) Speak to the merchants of the two poisoned food and they will tell you who they got them off.

8) Find the person in common, for me it was Walton.

9) Tell the Captain this and he will tell you to take him to that person.

10) Find the person in the south of the city and accuse them, if you get it wrong you'll get charged 5,000gp

11) You will then have a conversation with the villain and then you fight them, after a while they will switch on protect from Melee.

12) Zanik appears and starts ranging the HAM member, who switches to protect from range so you can finish them off.

13) "Kill" him and then you can talk to Zanik, she will tell you what happened in the box.

it's a lot easier to get over yourself when you look at intelligence the same way you look at beauty, or height, or eye color: being smart is easy, but being good is hard ... being smart is handed to you, being good is handed to *nobody*.

After becoming zanik, jump to the goblin smallest goblin (near the big goblin with the water) and continue jumping until you are on top of the biggest goblin. Look into the scrying pool and watch the cutscene. Continue jumping down the line until you get to the ledge. Pick up the crossbow and grapple to the spear above the seat, where you will pick up an amulet. Look into the scrying pool again then walk all the way south to the portal. The goblins will move out of the way.

Zanik will kill Walton. Find zanik, who is far south in the cave south of the town, and sit next to him. Talk to him for a while and he will be taken in front of the council. After talking, he will leave, and you will be given ham robes and told to talk to the HAM members near lumbridge. Find Johannus in the base.

Johannus will send you to sigmund. He is in the windmill north of Ardougne. Speak to Milton the Miller and use the password "Arrav"

Note: You may need food for the next part.

Climb down the trap door in the windmill. If you talk to sigmund, you will be expelled. Steal a letter from any of the members around by pickpocketing them. Walk through the east door, then through the south door, and squeeze through the hole. Give the note to the HAM member and walk east to the interrogation room. Take the key from the ground.

Tell the goblin you will distract the guard while he makes a break for it and talk to the guard by walking behind him so that he is not facing the door. The goblin will move into the next room. Tell him to wait at the west door. Open the door and walk into the south room. Take the plates and the guard will enter your room, allowing the goblin to move through. Continue through the east door, grubfoot will do some cool magic spell, and try to escape. Defeat sigmund and then kill zanik over and over until she takes the pendant off. The priest will then take the pendant and you will teleport out with zanik as the cave collapses.

You will be in another cave and there will be a cave in. Clear the rocks and tell Zanik to grapple to the wall and that you can see a spot. Tell her to grapple right, right, left, and left. Keep encouraging her as you go.

Proceed to dorgesh-kaan and talk to the captain, then proceed to the council. Get through the talk and then talk to the scribe. He will tell you to get an artifact from the archaelogist, then return to the scribe, and go to the miner in the mines who will bury your time capsule. Proceed to oldak, who is in his lab northwest of the city. He will ask for a pair of energy projectors and a focusing chamber from the agility course south of the city. Talk to turgall for the things and return to oldak, who is located where you first found walton.

You will be given a crossbow, give it to zanik, then proceed to Mernik in the nursery. She will ask you to talk to Ambassador Alvijar to see if the goblins can flee to Keldagrim. He says no, and return to tell the bad news to Mernik. Return to Zanik near the portal and prepare for the fight.

In the fight, kill the avatar once (protect from melee or mage, depending on what he attacks with) and pick up Zanik's crossbow. You may have to kill the statutes to pick up the things. Zanik will be knocked down, so use the crossbow special yourself (an option after killing the avatar).

Cutscene, blah blah blah. Yay you get a statue made for you.

If you talk to Oldak afterwards, he can make a Bandos throne room sphere out of two law runes and a piece of molten glass to take you back to the throne room.

ya it gives a negative prayer bonus, but it give +30 to 35 range bonus more than the bone crossbow.

Dunno what the special does if it has one(think it does).

Went to the bandos throneroom, gonna be a great place to go for loot once the new quest hype dies down, the statues there drop 4-5 silver ores and 2 addy ores quite commonly. Heard they drop dragon meds too.
