100% accurate Max Hit Formulas!

I put max everything (Except stone of jas) on the range calculator to find the max hit of zaniks cross bow, it says 44 with void and max prays + pots but i saw i picture in the Post all rs pictures here thread of someone hitting i think 57? with it. the special hits i think 15% higher on people who are praying/wearing a god item, so that might be it

To get 0 range, just drink a lot of saradomin brews. Drink enough and your level will read 0/xx.

 

 

 

My current thinking is that they don't use the ceiling function, just round up and down normally. Otherwise I just can't make stuff fit. But I think formula is *something* like

 

 

 

Max = (L + c)(aR + B) * Modifiers

 

 

 

Where :-

 

 

 

L is level

 

c is ~8

 

a is ~0.00157

 

R is range strength bonus

 

b is ~0.1

 

Modifiers is pray spec void ect.

 

 

 

This works as far as I can tell for everything except the ags special attack. With ags it's no where near. Is ags really 25%? It just doesn't seem to fit.

 

 

 

I think void is even better than 17.5%, 20% seems to fit better.

Also, I don't think this would work but do you think ranged strength (and melee strength) aren't called strength BONUSES for nothing? Maybe it's actually (strength + strengthBonus) * someConstant

 

 

 

I think that probably won't work, maybe Jagex just names things oddly. I'm sure it's been tried and failed for years before, but you never know. I'm leaving AGAIN, so I'll be back in around 3 hours. :)

There's an option to select the Zanik crossbow special attack on the calculator, and it gives +15 damage, not +15%. So for you it'd have said 59 which is above the max you saw.

I'm 99.9% sure the basic formula is ~(L+8)((R/638)+0.1).

Armadyl Godsword spec isn't right.

 

Says max hit with 99 strength, piety, super strength, and +121 strength bonus (bandos chest & tassets, fury, rune defender, barrows gloves, dragon boots, beserker ring) is 58...I'm 99% sure it's higher.

 

 

 

The other godsword hits may be off too.

 

I work it out as 58 as well (my calc).

You still have a long way to do, since some of your Maxes are not good, they're entirely based on the range strength, what about the bolts' special abilities? I've hit 41s with diamond, according to your calc, max is 36.

It got a bit hard here, too many people killing too many guards too fast leaving me none to test on >.<

The guards only have 22 hitpoints, so there was only 1 test per guard at the higher levels (if I was lucky)

Sorry for the bump, but I tried your calc again and it was really accurate. Maybe the admins could replace the current calcs with these. :D I also tried the tipit calc again and it said my max hit with an r2h is 27 while I know for a fact that my max is 25 with no pot.

I know this is a very old thread, but when I clicked on your url's, I see no calculator. When I tried to spreadsheet the formula for max hits, I'm getting numbers wayyy off, so I think I'm doing something wrong. Mind helping me, Jard?
