::noclip is a java command (in runescript) in which the boundaries, or "clips" of the environment are transformed from solid(mesh) into either a transparent or and undefined layer, thus allowing the tester(or player) to walk through walls, on water, etc.

 

 

 

when people say "noclipping", they are actually using it out of context. only j-mods actually have the command known as ::noclip, which is obviously just used in bug testing.

 

 

 

when a player says "noclip" he just means he found a glitch to walk through a wall, or on water, something like that.

probaly said already, but anyone remember the house weapon glitch, were you wield weapons oddly? like holding a sword like a 2h weapon, or holding a sheild in the 2h stance? good times.

I just remember the castle wars ladder bug.

 

 

 

The ladder down from the 2nd floor to the passage that goes to the store room used to send you down whatever side you tried to go on. So you would get sent directly into the store room skipping thelong passageway and allowing you to out run your enemie. It was very useful for scorers and spead up getting cades and such by a few seconds each time. It was removed after about 6 months after a J mod attended a clan castle war game and saw it happening.

There was the bug where people could complete the last part of the waterfall quest over and over to keep get the reward each time. There was a mass ban for that iirc.

ive seen a couple people stuck in FoG entrance a couple times when it came out.

I remember when house luring came out. My friends made billions off of it. Party Hat after Party Hat. None of them ever got banned. Required 3 people, 1 with a dungeon, another with a character from 25-25 Combat, and a person with vengeance. A teamspeak/vent server was also nessissary for coordination.

 

How it worked:

 

1. Find some helpless victim to get into the dungeon, start fighting with that person, get them to 1/2/3 hitpoints...Air Strikes were used to lower.

 

2. Have the low level person type in the house owners name to join the house; Then tell the venger to vengeance them. The second they would see the skull they would enter the house and would have vengeance on them. They would then run downstairs and attack the person (Who would be talked into having auto retaliate on). Attack with flowers and then spin a Dragon Spinning Plate.

 

3. The victim would then attack the low level, most likely hitting him. Once the plate spin was almost over, the house owner would KICK everyone.

 

4. The vengeance and rings of recoil would kick in outside, and the house owner would get the kill. Free PK.
