If 99 str is so common, should I feel proud to get it?

Who really gives a damn about what other people think? People who belittle others' achievements are just scum. :<img src=:' />

Be proud.
Only fear God,

99 strength may be the most common skill at 99, but at least it's not a buyable skill :D

Yeah, any 99 is special though and something you can be proud of. Even the 'easy' ones.

IMO,it wouldnt matter if you were getting 99 Slayer or 99 strength, becasue, ultimately, all it proves is that you have spent a little too much time playing a game. That is at least the way I look at my 99 strength.

99 Strength takes over 100 hours to achieve, and many skills don't even take 50. It is a bigger achievement than many people would think, regardless of how common it is.

Of course. But if you'd post it on Rate This, I guess some people would flame you because it's common. Just ignore those.

lol 100 hours. Yeah, probably took me that long.

But really, the last level is thanks to soul wars =X

I had a wyvern task, and I couldn't get myself to do it =P

and I think it took me around 200 hours, slacked off and I usually use my whip lol O_O

Getting any 99 is impressive enough, don't feel 'let down' or 'put off' by other people saying it's common or it's nooby. You clearly enjoy the skill enough to get it to 99 so go for it.

And I see that you're happy getting your 99 - the way it should be.

Congratulations, mate.

I'm no expert, but I don't think 84 attack, 80 defense and 99 strength adds up with "usually" using your whip -- you're practically a strength pure.

Of course you should. It might be fairly common amongst worn skillcapes, but that doesn't make it common overall. Any 99 is a good achievement, and even amongst 99s, Strength is very respectable.

Not only that, but it's really useful for combat! :D

It's an achievement no matter what, but I can't help feeling like crap knowing how many other people have my skill. It doesn't matter what they think, but sometimes I'm like, "Ugh...99 slayer is one of the hardest skills to get due to time to train it and yet almost 4,000 people have it anyway."

What you're seeing is the business of Runescape growing. More people join, more people train, more people get 99s. 3 Years ago, seeing a level 126 was jaw dropping. Now...not so much. Is it still a great achievement? Yes. Is it impressive? No.

Just feel proud about yourself. It's your achievement, and if you think it cost you a lot of time and dedication, then you can be proud of yourselves. Just don't expect any respect for it, because indeed, it's extremely common, so you can't expect anyone to marvel at your strength cape.

Just always remember that even though a lot of people have it, it's not completely useless! In fact, having 99 strength is one of the few skills that really helps to have maxed out, unlike firemaking...and cooking...

Why the hell shouldn't you be proud of your achievements? Just because it's common doesn't mean it's ludicrously easy. Besides, what should you care of what everyone else thinks of your 99? If they like it, they like it; if they don't, they don't.

Who cares, honestly, the game isn't about other people, its about your own character.

It's the most popular and common of combat achievement capes. If you wanted to feel special, should've gone for defense.

if you think about it, it isnt all that common, of all 2 million people that are ranked in STR, only 25% of them have the 99

and then there's all the other people that aren't ranked.

which is a few million more, and then it seems alot rarer.

You should as long as you didn't PC or bandit it.

Also take comfort in the fact that 99 str is actually useful unlike skills like firemaking that people max out then never touch again.

True that man.

And I can't stand things like PC and bandits...

Bandits are annoying when people come kill yours

PC is hard cause there are nubs who always come and crash your world.

So yea,,, SLAYER FTW <3
