I'm wondering whether I should get a green mask, blue mask or santa hat as a long term investment. Are these items likely to rise in price in 6 months time. Green masks will already be going down from the Halloween [bleep]e, but Santa's should start to raise in value. So probably a Santa Hat would be a good idea. Judobreaker Posted May 10, 2009 Share Posted May 10, 2009 It's quite simple... Rares have become useless. They were used to show off wealth, but besides that there was no other use. Ever since the stronger weapons and armors came around (godswords, spirit shields, stuff like that) people have been able to show off their wealth with items that actually have another use besides showing off. People are now saving up for expensive weapons and armors, not for holiday items. I think a santa would be a relatively safe bet if you can find a buyer before Christmas. If you can't, then you'll probably have to wait another year to avoid losing a lot of money.
