CheapMark
I just reverted back to F2P as I am trying to get 99 fm, and wanted to go Cockroach Soldier hunting and wondered what the best armour/set-up is for doing so? Im 81 attack, 75 Strength, 75 Defence, 66 Magic, and 72 Ranged. Thanks : Cheap Mark - Going for 1050 Total

legilgalad2
as above, but rune gauntlets are better than dragonhide vams. So is beserker shield but it's not worth it. Woodcutting does not raise your combat level because most people do not play as yew trees.
kdog2fast
What he means by not worth it is the berserk kite but the gloves are a must especially cause they don't degrade unless you go to the FoG guy or die with them :) Not much you can really use in f2p for any training...melee is the only way you can really kill these guys fast and efficiently
Youmu
The standard full rune , kite + scimmy , SoS Boots , D'hide Vambs, team cape , power ammy. Replace the D'hide vambs with rune gauntlets, and add the Explorer's Ring 3. You could be like me, using rune longsword to kill monsters, but it is all up to your own preference what weapon you want. I recommend the rune scimitar, though. Stats? 70 Attack, Strength, and Defence is good. Since you surpassed those levels you should do fine against them. Food? Lobsters/Swordfish, as those guys hit hard. You should also leave some inventory space for drops. You can bring a strength potion if you want as well.
