RuneAge

Recommended Posts

Hi there, i'm saving up for a bgs (for boss killing ect..) i currently have 11m, i need roughly another 5-6m, What would be the best way to do this? I've heard everyone saying green dragons are brilliant for money/exp, But how much money exp/money could i get an hour?

Also, if there's any better/quicker methods to get good money, please tell me .

Thanks in advance! ::'

xp/money rates depend on level and equipment, but it's roughly 150/-300k gp/h (also depending on whether you sell the bones or bury them on the spot, or save em up for gilded). Xp rate, no idea... depends on how many you can slay in an hour. They have 75 hp, so basically 300 times the amound you can kill in an hour.

I'm more experienced with aviansies. Addy bars and rune limbs are common, and with 80+ range you can easily gain 400k gp an hour, if not more. Set-up I like alot:

Full void range (helm, top, robes, gloves)

Armadyl Pendant

Bandos Boots

Saradomin Cape

Unholy Book

Rune crossbow with mith or broad bolts

Inventory:

1 Super restore pot

Fire (battle)staff or runes

Nature runes

Bones to Peaches tabs

Prayer pots or food (I use monks) just in case

You can actually killsteal alot on the less crowded worlds, as the creatures in the dungeon fight each other as well. If you even do 1 damage you get the drop. Just collect a lot of bones (kill goblins if you really need em) and break a tab once your inventory is full for fresh food. With this set-up you can easily stay down there for 1k+ kills, and make a lot of money in the process.

Happy hunting!

Current goals:

Hunter 78/80

Smithing 70/80

Runecrafting 58/60

Strength 96/99

Defense 45/46

Prayer 72/95

Dungeoneering 85/100

Along with Green Dragons/Avs you can:

Do herb run (About 80k per run, every 75 mins, takes 5 mins to do).

Buy battle staff from Zaff everyday with varrock armour. ( 1k profit per battle staff)

Do MTK. ( About 100k per day)

What varrock armour is required for this?

Any varrock armour, but higher levels allow you to buy more per day, for larger profit. I think max is 64/day.

Sig by me, in MS paint, but I'm still working on it.

Suggestions appreciated

My guess is that you'll get about 450-500k an hour. I get 650k an hour there, personally.

Awesome, what setup is required for green dragons, and how will i get there ect..?

It depends on how you do it, but green dragons can be upwords of 500k per hour, if done efficiently.

I would also reccommend fishing, but you don't want slower skills.

Gained first quest cape on 3/22/09! Gained 99 fishing 5/22/09!

I forgot when I got 99 cooking!

Well, since you can still get attacked by Revenant Orks, you may want to consider the Chaos Tunnels - they are slower money, but you risk less.

Here's what I do for green dragons. Note that I'm using very risky gear if a revenant comes along.

Head - Neitiznot

Cape - Fire

Amulet - Fury

Weapon - Whip

Body - Bandos

Shield - DFS

Legs - Bandos

Gloves - Barrows

Boots - Dragon

Ring - Berserker

In inventory, DDS and Games Necklace. You would need to bring food. Have summoned a Terrorbird.

At the bank, drink one dose each of super attack, strength, and defense, as well as antifire. Bring one or two Terrorbird scrolls if you need to. Teleport to Clan Wars, walk east, and kill dragons. Bank at bounty hunter.

Personally with what I pick up besides the bones and hides I can make 40-50k per trip, with 4-5 trips per hour with a lot of distractions and lots of competition.

What I use:

Drag Med

Initiate Plate

Initiate Legs

White Gloves

White Boots

DDS/Dragon Scimitar Combo (the DDS makes for some fast kills)

Fremenik(sp?) Cape

Glory

Ring of Wealth

This gives me a good prayer bonus, because at around 85cb there are a lot of revenants that want you dead.

The corp beast, is, well, just a corp beast. He doesnt even have any friends.

[spoiler=Other Quotes]tbh idk why this makes me laugh so hard

All DFS threads turn into efficiency flame wars >.>

>OP asks "why use DFS?"

>everyone says "there is no reason"

>someone says "stop bashing people who use DFS, efficiency troll ass clown"

>thread is now a flame fest

Doesn't really apply here, but Aviancies can make double that if he has Void range, 10% range prayer, Range potted, obby ringed, and unicorns...

About Aviansies making 1m per hour, no not 1m, but around 820k or something I recall Compfreak saying to me, Void range + maxed ranged bonus + Unicorns + alot of noobs to KS + Obby rings + 99 ranged + Hell of alot of practice.

You can always try and get Gop tabs and find a good 91+ rc assistor for moneys. That makes around 800k per hour profits, counting only the time to collect tabs (50-50 games, easy to do, 630 tokens a game 16 minutes a game). Snakes in Mos Le'harmless is very easy money, useful for lower levels (~100) and I personally get around 200 hides per hour there. Hides are around 2k. THIS WAS WHEN I HAD 80'S FOR MY MELEE STATS!@!@ But prices have changed and Snakes are now targetted by many users, the method has been spread and alot of people are killing them now. The good thing about snakes is that they aren't about being level 120 or 100, but about speed of clicking. Because they only have 25hps, it doesn't take long for even a lower level to kill. THIS IS ABOUT CLICKING AWESOMELY GOOD.

Green Dragons I do at the Chaos tunnels, not telling you how I'm doing it because there are too many KSers there already but I get around 10-12 trips per hour (not sure on average, haven't killed enough, but around 500-600k per hour). THIS IS WHEN I HAVE 90+ MELEE STATS.

Dependant on hide and corresponding leather/skin prices, you can tan hides for it, since you have 11m investment already, this is one of the best ones, because NO ONE can killsteal/interfere with your moneymaking, except randoms and merchants ofcourse. I was tanning Snakeskins when the difference was 300 between hide prices and skin prices, and I tanned the 1k hides in what, 21-23 minutes, dependant on attention you pay to it (the more attention you pay, the better gp per hour, alike rcing). THIS IS NOT ABOUT MELEE STATS BUT MORE ABOUT 52 SUMMON AND 50+ AGILITY.

Virtually free energy restore from Terrorbirds and with the price differences so high it worked out that I was potentially making 900k per hour HOLY CRAP!

Lastly, as everyone says, Slayer, although Compfreak has proven points in the Slayer Sucks thread, he was using prayer pots and in a normal worlds for his calculations, reducing profits. Drop rates for Dragon Boots according to some tifer that I don't remember the name of 1:90. Drop rates for whips according to some guy who posted about his kills/whips ratio it worked out 1:450 or so. I am guessing these are around the 500k per hour mark. THIS IS... NOT SURE ABOUT THESE BECAUSE I DON'T HAVE THE SLAYER LEVEL TO KILL =\.
