Ravenkana
Come one, come all, to the perennial forum favorite: Strange Happenings of the Scapeland! Post bizarre, nonsensical monster drops! Wonder at impossible topographical features! Tremble in horror at insane npc behavior! Post your stories and musings here! Recently, I was slaying Dagannoths. Whilst there, I noticed that they would occasionally drop tinderboxes. This struck me as odd; what sort of adventurer carries a tinderbox into a dangerous lair with him? And, furthermore, why are the Dagannoths holding on to them? Are they learning to make fire? Have we unwittingly advanced their evolution by millions of years?!? Another thing that strikes me as odd is the desert. There are no mountains to create the weather conditions, and several rivers run through! Additionally, wells seem to be semi-common suggesting large underground resevoirs. Finally, the Pharoah Queen from the most recent quest mentions it used to be far more lush. What happened? Also, areas surrounding various mountain ranges are NEVER desert. What's up with that? If the CORPORAL beast is this hard, imagine how hard a GENERAL or COLONEL beast would be. a corporal is not even an admirable rank in armies that use that ranking system. Yeah, it is a pking minigame, so any arguments anybody makes will probably be biased. The best way this will end :Everybody just says,"I'm not arguing with you anymore, goodbye."The worst way this will end: I don't really know, psychological warfare? Worldwide thermonuclear war? Pie eating contest?

Kietaro1
I was killing Greater Demons and found they drop thread at least once per trip...they have a secret sewing club. They, at one time were graphically just a much smaller lesser demon, which was a smaller greater demon. So one could speculate that they are from the same species and this have an obsession with collecting nick-knacks.

Also, areas surrounding various mountain ranges are NEVER desert. What's up with that? Egypt and Iraq both have deserts with rivers. And there are plenty of mountain ranges that don't have any desert near them. In any case, this is a fantasy game. There are so many illogical things (talking animals, mythical creatures, creating wooden-handled hatchets out of metal bars, etc.), yet you managed to pick the few things that aren't illogical at all. Wizz
You can eat anything in 3 bite and drink anything in 3 gulps. You can run at the same speed and even if you are carrying something heavy. People can walk through people. You cut the hardest natural substance known to man, creating the perfect diamond for jewelry, using a chisel. Diamond have stress points, thats how we cut diamonds in the real world. Wongton is better than me in anyway~~
InkofDeath
Diamond have stress points, thats how we cut diamonds in the real world. No, we cut those stress points with other diamonds. We just eventually broke down diamonds enough to form a sharp edge and then carried it on from there with diamond dust in blades to cut diamonds. smobo
My backpack is strange, the following three facts are true about it: - 1 coin takes up as much room as 1 million coins. - 1 coin takes up as much space as a hammer. - 2 hammers take up twice as much space as 1 million coins. brunokiller
I was also amazed by the fact that the people in Ardougne don't know there are still elves west of the Arandar mountains, when you can obviously spot two standing on the gate to Arandar mountain if you run west a bit. Assume Nothing
My backpack is strange, the following three facts are true about it: - 1 coin takes up as much room as 1 million coins. - 1 coin takes up as much space as a hammer. - 2 hammers take up twice as much space as 1 million coins. I've learnt more. I can carry 7 cannons in my inventory, yet not 29 sardines. To trade in large quantities, instead of having a note version of a currency, we just carry millions of coins in our inventories. There are random events. You can 'miss' using a godsword against a unarmed man (How does that work? Surely the blade is big enough to deal some damage) You defy all damage by believing in gods. Melee weapons (halberds) need to 'touch' the monster visually, yet it still deals damage. There is a 'timer' that 'logs you out' You can get 'hacked' Nonsensical monster drops: - 4 adamantite bars... from aviansies - Onyx bolt tips... from 149's at Tzhaar - Absolutely nothing... from TzTok Jad (the fire cape is from the dude you sent you in) - Ashes... from demons (sort of logical, but what about the body structure? Looks like there's a skeleton to hold them together) - Dragon boots from spiritual mages (Uhmmm, why?) - Not monster but you can get drops from a player, like... a DragonFire Shield from someone who loses a dragon dagger (PvP worlds) (more to come... some of these are logical in a sense, but still doesn't fit in the game)

Zierro
It would probably be easier to list all the logical things in RS, but it's fun to bring attention to nonsense. : - When you get caught pickpocketing, they only hit you once and expect you to learn your lesson from that one hit. Then they go about like nothing ever happened. - Either you cook fish alive or they suddenly die as soon as you catch them. - When you die, all of your possessions fall off your body except for 3. - Certain people can remove your vocal cords for swearing but there is no consequence for killing millions of innocent men. - You can wear boots over your boots. - Iron is a better metal than Bronze. - The game is called Runescape which should mean Rune equipment would be the highest class of armor, but even granite beats it.
