Sy_Accursed
My money is also on the charm update because "Also this month, we will introduce a brand new mechanic for obtaining Summoning charms outside of combat. Following the recent exploration into the Spirit Plane... -- ...but Yaktwee Swinmari Cianta is the gnome to find out." I don't think I follow... Do you mean you think there may be new "gnome" summoning, contrary to "druidic" summoning? Nio he means the BTS (which is always in order of release for updates btw) lists as second for this month Charmling Hunting; which is an alternate way to get charms via hunter. The bts also tell us it will be part of the Gnome Stronghold and to speak to that gnome. Ergo pictures showing gnome areas as update hint are more than obvious. Mercifull
While unlikely the Gnomic rather than druidic summoning is quite an interesting idea. There are other npcs who are able to summon things, more recently the whole void pests thing. Then there is lucien summoning undead stuff. I wonder is jagex would ever consider new summoning familiars like the alternate spellbooks or curses. Perhaps this is another topic for discussion. Agreed, should be discussed on a different topic.I dont think it would work though. I mean, people could just buy pouches from both "summoning books" and use them. ........::::: Rainy's YouTube Channel - Rainy's Twitter - Rainy's Facebook - Rainy's DeviantArt - Rainy's Tumblr - Rainy's Tip.It Profile :::::......... Mercifull
But you'd have to go to some obelisk somewhere to change which set of familiars you could summon. You can't teleport to lumbridge on lunar for example so you could summon a Pak Yak and then an Undead Hoard (for example) without swapping summoning books first. Or maybe the same pouch (ingredients etc) just summoned a slightly different creature with different abilities depending on your "book". But anyway... this is off topic. To continue the off-topic discussion, I really like the idea of alternate summoning "powers," if you will. To put it bluntly, [bleep] off.
xxshady
Dissapointed they arent updating gnomes. They look so... ew. That gnome looks updated to me o.O The old gnomes were much more blocky and low res Nope, I'm positive that's an old gnome. :( Ya, after looking at the gnome in-game, its definitely still the old, disgusting gnomes. :( -------------------------------------------------------------------
