RuneScape Hide and Seek - Map and Rules Only

Have you ever wanted to play hide and seek with your friends on RuneScape? Now you can! The rules have already been thought out and the map has already been created.

Rules:

 

[hide=]RS Hide N Seek Basic Rules:

 

?The countdown for the hiders starts when all of the hiders are at a starting point (red square on the map).

 

?Hiders may not use banks during a session.

 

?Hiders may not go to the mini-game VineSweeper.

 

?Hiders may not use any ships, tree spirits, gnome gliders, or other method of transportation shown on the map as an arrow.

 

?Hiders CANNOT leave the area shown on the pre-made map.

 

?Hiders must not cross where red lines are located on the pre-made map.

 

?Seekers may ignore boundaries if they wish.

 

?Hiders must give 3 general clues TRUTHFULLY to where they are (Optional feature):

 

North, south, east, west, northwest, northeast, southwest, southeast, or center.

 

Below ground, on the ground floor, 1 floor up, 2 floors up, 3 floors up, etc.

 

Which town (or island) they are in: e.g. West or East Ardougne and Lumbridge or Draynor (if in between, say in between).

 

^ If the hider is not truthful about his/her clues, they are disqualified for that round and is the seeker next round.

 

?Hiders may use only one special bonus per round and can be ONE of the following (Optional):

 

They can skip giving ONE of the clues

 

They may move around freely until found (found is defined as spotted by the seeker)

 

They may appear Offline.

 

^You must tell the seeker(s) which you are using.

 

?Seekers must start from another town/area and teleport in or run/walk in.

 

?-Hiders have 3-10 minutes to hide (depending on size of area) before the seeker comes looking (seeker can come early if all hiders say ready).

 

?Hiders may not hide in quest-specific or skill specific areas.

 

?Once the hider has selected his/her hiding spot, they may NOT move (optional).

 

?Hiders must NOT give away the location of other hiders that they may know about.

 

?Once/if found, the found hider must follow the seeker that found them around.

 

?Everyone must be in the same Clan Chat.

 

?Logging out while being a hider qualifies for disqualification from that round.

 

?If a hider is ever in a restricted areas (marked by red lines on the pre-made map) they are disqualified for the round.

 

?The first (few) person/people found in a round will be the seeker(s) in the following round.

 

?Players may choose to have more than 1 seeker.

 

?The last hider found is considered the winner.

 

?Hiders may NOT teleport or they are disqualified

 

?No hiding in RuneCrafting altars, guilds, skill required areas, quest specific areas, or other places everyone may not be able to enter.

 

?No hiding somewhere that you may need a key.

 

?You are always allowed to wear your ghostly robes (at your own risk)

 

?Any symbol on the map with a red box around it means you may walk there, but not use the service such as transportation, agility shortcuts, or farming patches.

 

?You have five times the hiding time of that area to seek hiders as the seeker

 

?Rules for Specific Areas (note: you can ONLY bring items that are under required or suggested):

 

A Tiarannwn (large; difficult; 10 minutes to hide):

 

Required: Membership, at least 12 doses (Super) Anti-poison potions, 56 agility, completion of Regicide, begun Mournings Ends Part 1, food, teleport tab for emergency situations ONLY

 

Suggested: hatchet, tinderbox, rabbit meat (obtained there), weapon of your choice

 

B - Camelot/Rellekka (medium; easy; 7 minutes to hide):

 

Required: Membership

 

Suggested: Weight reducing gear

 

C - Gnome Stronghold(small; easy; 4 minutes to hide):

 

Required: Membership

 

Suggested: Boots of lightness, spotted/spottier cape, penance gloves

 

D - Ardougne Area (medium; medium; 6 minutes to hide):

 

Required: Membership

 

Suggested: Weight reducing gear

 

E - Yanille Area (medium; medium; 8 minutes to hide):

 

Required: Membership

 

Suggested: dragonhide or other armor, food

 

F Karamja (large; medium; 9 minutes to hide):

 

Required: Membership, food, (super) anti-poison

 

Suggested: armor, weapon of choice (arrows if bow), light/weight reducing clothing

 

G - Ape Atoll (small; medium; 7 minutes to hide):

 

Required: Membership, completion of Monkey Madness, ninja gree-gree, 48 agility

 

Suggested: food, (super) anti-poison, other gree-grees

 

H - Burthrope/Taverly (medium; easy; 5 minutes to hide):

 

Required: Membership

 

Suggested: Weight reducing gear

 

I - Ice Mountain Area (small; easy; 4 minutes to hide):

 

Required: Bronze medium helmet and iron chainbody

 

Suggested: Nothing or light weight/weight reducing clothing

 

J Falador (small; easy; 3 minutes to hide):

 

Required: Nothing

 

Suggested: Nothing or light weight/weight reducing clothing

 

K Wilderness (large; difficult; 10 minutes to hide):

 

Required: food, (super) anti-poison, armor, weapon

 

Suggested: Membership

 

L - Rimmington Area (small; easy; 5 minutes to hide):

 

Required: Nothing

 

Suggested: Nothing or light weight/weight reducing clothing

 

M - Lumbridge/Draynor (medium; easy; 7 minutes to hide):

 

Required: Nothing

 

Suggested: Nothing or light weight/weight reducing clothing

 

N Varrock (medium; easy; 5 minutes to hide):

 

Required: 33 quest points

 

Suggested: Nothing or light weight/weight reducing clothing

 

O - Digsite/Al Kharid (medium; easy; 6 minutes to hide):

 

Required: Membership

 

Suggested: Weight reducing gear

 

P Desert (large; difficult; 10 minutes to hide):

 

Required: Membership, food, waterskins/water tiara

 

Suggested: desert robes (all), weapon (arrows if bow)

 

Q - Canifis Area (medium; medium; 7 minutes to hide):

 

Required: Membership, priest in peril, food

 

Suggested: Ghosts Ahoy OR ecto-tokens (10-20), armor (any), weapon

 

R - Mort Myre Swamp (medium; difficult; 8 minutes to hide):

 

Required: Membership, priest in peril, food, In Aid of the Myrque

 

Suggested: armor, weapon

 

S Meiyerditch (large; difficult; 10 minutes to hide):

 

Required: Membership, Darkness of Hallowvale, food

 

Suggested: weapon, light-weight/weight reducing clothing

 

T Keldagrim (small; easy; 4 minutes to hide):

 

Required: Membership

 

Suggested: Weight reducing gear

 

U - Rogues Den (large; medium; 9 minutes to hide):

 

Required: Membership, 50+ agility, 50+ thieving

 

Suggested: 55+ agility, 55+ thieving[/hide]

 

 

 

Ignore the unreadable text on the map. It was all covered in the rules.
