And I had dial up at the time so I couldn't call him to check. I ended up wandering to Draynor screaming into public chat and wondering why he couldn't hear me. Surely enough, it didn't do a damn thing. Lesson learnt. Later I unlocked the telekinetic grab spell, but still couldn't get some of the stuff from the locked "vault". Ahh silly days. :lol: Like 2.5 years ago, gave my santa hat to a friend, which he promised to pay for over time. I only received half of what it was worth. *sigh* Needless to say, I was dumb enough to let the same guy later get away with my white partyhat and half my bank. :wall: Older TIF users know of this, and it comes up whenever a topic such as this is posted :roll: Admittedly, shock therapy is the best way to make a person change. "Read everything you are told! Think before you act!" is the motto of safety, and the rule I go by. It prevents you from dying to most things, it prevents you from getting into awkward situations, etc... Then I was distracted by randomness in forsaken's chat for a while, and eventually decided that I should go see if i can punch a green drag to death with no armor in the wild. So I used the dump equipment button and walked north. Tried to kill it(would've got it deaded too if I used piety), failed, and popped up in Camelot with a unicorn horn(from killing a black uni on the way) and 2 coins. I went to sleep wondering where those 2 coins were from... salim123 Posted June 30, 2009 Share Posted June 30, 2009 i got two and i think they win hands down, first, in Runescape Classic talking to npc's was at the top left and usually in white writing, well in the middle of the tutorial i logged (in the snowy part) and when i logged back on i could not figure out how to get out because i could not see the text at the top left, so basically it took me about an hour and a half to get through tutorial island. second, i was leaving for a trip and gave my friend my pass (i was rich in my friend group, back when i started rs i had about 100-200k) He gave my other friend the 10,000 feathers i had because they thought it was useless. When i got back i got pissed off and my friend gave me 1000 raw lobster certs, me being the idiot i am unoted it at draynor (certs are a pain in the [wagon] if you dont know) walked to lumby, cooked at range and walked back because i thought that the draynor lumby gives best chance of cooking. Xanotex Posted July 1, 2009 Share Posted July 1, 2009 I remember always getting stuck on the same point at Tutorial Island, on Xanotex I've been stuck there for 3 hours non-stop searching, on pures for 30 minutes each time.
