Inuashakent
My dad gave me his old (but just got updated today) Mac. It's a great computer with top notch everything, but I can't scroll the bank using the mouse. Is there any way to? Edit: Oh, and I can scroll up and down anywhere else. Lets_3ekout
Do you mean you can't scroll it with a mouse wheel? Or at all? If you mean with the wheel, there's always the scroll bar :? Inuashakent
Yeah, that gets real annoying after a while. And the Logitech mouse doesn't seem to work well with Mac (it seems... sluggish for precise movements needed for runescape) and when I try to use my Apple mouse, it can't right click without pressing command+click. So that's a no go for Runescape... unless there's a way. I need some experienced Mac users, lol. Death123141
Well for the bank you could try holding down on the side bar.

Inuashakent
No, the internet is something completely else. The computer doesn't seem to use the mouse well. When I used it on my XP, it worked fine but with my Apple the same mouse doesn't work well. The computer I'm guessing needs to be adjusted to be able to play Runescape better. Inuashakent
Installing XP isn't possible (don't ask.) I'm going to get this moved since nobody can help here, I guess. [Summoning guide (AOW)] [Slayer guide] [Melee & Brawl player]
BloodAngel
Are you using Safari to play RS? If so don't because for some reason mouse scrolling doesn't work in it. I used FF or Opera to play RS though HD doesn't always work in them. Also I use a Logitech MX Revolution mouse and it works like a dream on my Mac. Hope this helps :) "Unfortunately, the real world isn't the same as a fairy tale."

essiw
I ahve a mac myself, I don't have a mouse but i use a pen tablet so I can't answer your scrolling, but I cananswer your problem with the apple mouse (apple mouses suck btw) It depens if you have a very old mouse (with no scroll thingy) or a newer one. if you have a newer one you have to set the right mouseclick yourself in preferences. [why the apple mouses do suck: 1, the first apple mouses don't have two buttons but use a sensor to look where you click, 2, the scroll wheel gets dirty very fast which occurs that it doesn't work good anymore. and the old mouse doesn't even have an option for 2 mouse buttons] http://sign.tip.it/1/2/79/260/essiw.png Retired item crew I would like to be credited as essiw at the website update & corrections forum. Laura
I'm assuming you're using Opera? It doesn't work with Opera. If not, you could try the Logitech Control Center. i play runescape on a mac multi touch pad. so talk about fun. its just something that you get used to.Apple doesn't just sell notebooks. You shouldn't be forced to comply to something that you don't feel comfortable with. In this case, he wants to use a mouse. I use Firefox for playing Runescape because Safari doesn't have a maximize option without installing plugins (which were poorly made). I tried Opera and quickly learned that I couldn't scroll any interface within the game.
Sam
System Preferences > Keyboard & Mouse? Have you configured that yet? Also, check you have all the latest Java by clicking on the start menu and selecting Software Update. 2257AD.TUMBLR.COM
