Do you think capes of achivement should become f2p or stay p2p I think skillcapes should become f2p but I really don't care if they do or don't... I just don't like the [puncture] members (not all) that are against f2p players ever getting them P.s. Dont have a link because I read it somewhere. There is a chance but dont count on it or expect it to happen. I do not know if the Mod was qualified to make such a statement and I dont know if the statement contained any credibility. J-Mods can be wrong and this wont be the first time. Narutolozfan Posted July 21, 2009 Share Posted July 21, 2009 You guys still are stuck on the idea that, if there are f2p skillcapes all the f2p skills skillcape NPC's have to be moved into F2p. if they make skills capes F2p shouldn't move any Npc's or anything like that. f2p should only limited to the skillcapes that have NPC's in the current f2p world.*wcing,rcing,smith,cook,etc* but not magic,firemaking, and all of those others i can't remeber right now. (To make the maths easy) 1 million members thats £3,500,000. How many members will quit for this pathetic reason? (Lets be extreme and say) 5,000 that means they lose out on £17,500, but there is still £3,482,500 coming into the company every month. How long do you think it will take for a new 5,000 f2p to join members? A few months maybe? They won't lose a penny, they wont even miss the people who leave. You saying they will lose money if they do this is like saying when you walk out of the sea the water level of the planet lowers, it is technically true (you have water on you, which has been taken from the sea) but it is so insignificant it doesn't matter, plus when some snow melts it or it rains they water you took out will be back 1,000 fold, the same with members there will less for a short time but there will be millions more joining in the future. Narutolozfan, I have heard that idea a number of times and it is a crap one. F2p have to suffer cos of some lottery that jagex chose to put some skill masters in a p2p area means f2p cannot get them capes, never going to happen. Much easier to make somebody like the wise old man all the skill capes and let f2p buy them off him, or put a new person in the run down part of varrock (near the ess wizard and the alter). dast Posted July 21, 2009 Share Posted July 21, 2009 It would be unlike in my opinion, but they could put someone in the champoins guild maybe. he/she would but an symbol on any f2p cape(black,blue,red,green not teamcapes) for that 99 for a cost, noting fancy but something to reconize that you have a 99. But f2p doesnt bring in any money so it wouldnt be done (cost to program vs. new income). For my guess was when they came out to show people that you done something not to be a good cape(state wise, which whould have to be adjusted then in f2P). Anyone who gets a 99 should be reconized for it, but not in a glamoures way as Pika_tim_tam stated. Tomuch work for them anyways, dont get your hope up 1/32 of an inch. Another thing to consider is Jagex isn't too concerned (apparently) with making the skill capes accessible to those with a more dedicated 99 (pures and str./att. capes in warrior's guild, which a pure could not enter). I would personally like to see those moved, even if not to f2p location. Anyway, I don't think it would be that big a deal, and I would like to at least see the capes become f2p items, so members who let their membership run out could still equip, use emote, and bank the capes.
