But honestly, does it make you any better as a person? Would people respect you more? People would just think you're immature.
Swearing excessively and inappropriately (where it doesn't make sense) is what makes you look immature. It's kids that think that, because you're using "bad words" it makes you look cool.
Lewis Black said that "There's no such thing as bad language. We are adults, these are the words we use to express frustration, rage, anger, in order that we don't pick up a tire iron and beat the [cabbage] out of you. What is the good language we're supposed to use that's supposed to help overcome certain things? What do people say who don't use those words? Someone who, after 40 years, loses their job, is fired, or let go, and they lose their pension, their welfare, and their benefits. They lose everything, do they sit on their couch going "ohh [kitty]feathers. Sassafras, sassafras, sassafras."
As George Carlin said, there is no such thing as a "bad word", it's bad thoughts, not bad words. The English Language just hit a million words, and we have more words to describe bad words, than we have bad words. It's all about your perspective.
I dare you to say the phrase, "The G.E's handing out 3rd Age pretty [racist term]rdly" in Runescape, at the General Exchange, in world 2, and see how many times you're reported. The word [racist term]rdly means stingy, reluctant to give out, etc. There's about two possible definitions for the word, and none of them include the ethnic slang some of you probably thought it would. Yet, if you were to use that, you'd probably be branded a racist.
