s1reatalot
Wow, another Jagex update, wtf is with those new whip and scimitar designs? My brother could draw better -.-
3hitm4g3u
Whip and scim designs look pretty good IMO. Just the way you hold scims is idiotic and the attacking animation for whip is pretty dumb. I was expecting an actual whip-like animation.

Me_Hate_Libs
Whip animation isn't too bad. It just needs a little for whiplash action at the end. And the scims look a little short yeah, could use with some tweaks. But should a little chnge in design get you that mad? It's not a whole interface change. :-P This website and its contents are copyright © 1999 - 2010 Jagex Ltd.

Sir_Kurity
I think they are nice designs, they look a bit cartoonish. But it looks so out of place when the other weapons aren't updated as well, they should update them all at once. O.O

But it looks so out of place when the other weapons aren't updated as well, they should update them all at once. That depends on the length between updates. If it's every two weeks, then no bigger. A month between and their is an issue. This website and its contents are copyright © 1999 - 2010 Jagex Ltd.
Sir_Kurity
Eurgh, it just looks so out of place among all these medieval style weapons to see something that looks like it came straight out of a 7 year olds TV screen. O.O
perfetc
runescape does seem to be gettin more and more cartoony :( Next update will be sponge bob as a pet  Partrick and squidward after a side quest  IM GOING TO LIVE FOREVER .......... or die trying
Muze07
They look fine but the animations are pretty lame...The Dragon Scimmy looks like your punching and just happen to be holding something..
Ravenkana
The whip looks like a red licorice rope with teeth- obviously the invention of a demonic Willy Wonka and his nightmare candy factory. If the CORPORAL beast is this hard, imagine how hard a GENERAL or COLONEL beast would be. a corporal is not even an admirable rank in armies that use that ranking system. Yeah, it is a pking minigame, so any arguments anybody makes will probably be biased. The best way this will end :Everybody just says,"I'm not arguing with you anymore, goodbye."The worst way this will end: I don't really know, psychological warfare? Worldwide thermonuclear war? Pie eating contest?
stillballin
i like the look of the new whip, the swinging motion is terrible looking tho IMO
Gin_and_Tonic
I personally think they've designed the new scimitar off too many arabian night movies. It looks alright, and im open to change (mostly cause i use brine sabre :P) but i personally preferred the old style scimitars. As for whip, i've not seen one for a while as some nerd clan is buying them all out :(

I just don't really care what my weapon looks like, as long as it gets the job done. I honestly don't see why you would care about how you look while training, I'd whack stuff with a giant carrot if it had good stats.
pie_eater
is it just me or does rune long look like the old rsc one? maybe because when they took out rsc people were so angry and it was a good part of rs, maybe there trying to bring it back by putting rsc and rs2 together. idk thats just my opinion. tip.its offcial pie addict
