Go to the grand canyon Go tubing (pulled by a motorboat, not just floating down a river) Go scuba diving in hawaii. Or snorkel, if you're not feeling too adventurous. The clear waters make it amazing. Skydive. Visit the place you've always wanted to. Live through a near death experience. Sex. Drive across a lot of the country. Fly an airplane or helicopter Fire a gun. Run atleast part of a marathon, or similar. Go ziplining in the jungle. Go camping for a month. Learn to ride a motorcycle. Learn to do a backflip. I'd love it if I could do it a couple hours from a major city - imagine the lights! but I've only done it in Canadian and some fields near Amarillo. I have a cottage about and hour and a half away from any city big enough to drown out the stars, and thre's a field close enough by. If anything, it's just because the field is a cow field. Another thing I want to do is to camp on one of the islands on the lake my cottage is on. To top lying in the middle of a field, lying on a boat sitting in the middle of a lake. I have so many ideas now for Labour Day. Also, my list isn't based off of making some sort of difference or the world remembering me, I can't control what people think. My list is me looking for stuff that I'll remember as just those perfect moments in life. The rush of freefall, discovery from backpacking, and just the awe of lying in a field at night, looking up at the sky. There's no such thing as regret. Cycle to Paris (from London) 5. Build a toothpick bridge. I hear this is quite a common homework assignment in the US? Looks pretty flipping complicated but I'd like to work it out : 6. Found a magazine 7. Be a fluent speaker of French (and make the most of it!) 8. Plant a yew tree... I like the idea of leaving something tangible behind that'll last god knows how many years 9. Witness a full eclipse, even if I have to go halfway around the world to be there 10. This'll sound ridiculous... but choose a street name, and visit every street in the world with that name.
