Everyone with over 9000 posts should get something.. >.> Like modship or something less extreme.

But grats, especially Hartlar. Nice PM from me

Just because someone has 9000+ posts doesn't mean that they're suitable for a moderator position and it certainly doesn't mean that they haven't broken any rules.

---------

Anyway congratulations (again ;)) you guys!

I was kidding, you should know that.

tbh at 10,000 postcount we should stop the "Troll General" thing and just give auto-custom ones.
I dont need a siggy no moar.

For those into that kind of thing - more incentive to spam....

I agree. I feel that custom ranks should be earned through rank contests. It just makes them all that more special.

There's nothing wrong with being 18 or below :P I was 15 when I joined the moderator team and I turned out okay. Maturity is not a number, it's a personality trait. There are plenty of people over 18 who are not suitable for a moderator position, and there are people under 18 who ARE suitable. It's how they act that matters, not the number behind it ;)

And we don't really have a "you have to have been registered for x amount of time" requirement. Nothing set in stone anyway. Obviously if you've been here for 6 months and have 2 posts, you won't be accepted since we can't fully evaluate you. When I was an admin and worked on the applications, at least, we mostly wanted candidates who had been on the forums for at least 6 months. I don't know if the current admins followed that same rule or not though. But what's important is activity, forum behavior and leadership skills.

A year is a pretty long time IMO. Plenty to know who they are and whether they're active.

When everything's been said and done, more has been said than done.
