I couldn't finish watching it... It just didn't keep my interest, but my brother and his wife liked it.

Watching 'Red' right now. Re-reading the comic it was based on last night reminded me of how good it was. If you haven't seen it, I have six words for you: Bruce Willis, John Malkovitch and Morgan Freeman. If that doesn't make you want to see it, then you've exposed your true identity alien robot from outer space! :P

Edit: oh yes, I almost forgot. Two more words: Karl Urban. Resist now robot shapeshifter. ;)

So, Kaida is the real version of every fictional science-badass? That explains a lot, actually...

Finally saw Spectre.

Was kinda surprised by the ending. But then again, following the tone of the film, not really.

So I've noticed this thread's regulars all follow similar trends.

RPG is constantly dealing with psycho exes.

Muggi reminds us of the joys of polygamy.

Saq is totally oblivious to how much chicks dig him.

I strike out every other week.

Kalphite wages a war against the friend zone.

Randox pretty much stays rational.

Etc, etc

Virtuosity. I haven't seen it since my VCR broke and could no longer watch my VHS version, but then the other day I found it on DVD at Wal-Mart for $3. I love bad sci-fi movies and this one is awful! Russell Crowe chews up scenery like it's going out of style and Denzel Washington is, well, Denzel. :P

There are actually no laws permitting or forbidding movies to any sort of audience, except pornography.

As such, most movie chains have simply put their own recommended age limits to movies and they may or may not admit people to the movies without an ID. It all comes down to the employee at the theater. And the highest limit our cinemas have self imposed is forbidden under 16+, but it ain't really common or enforced. Even Deadpool was 14+.

Yeah but American deadpool was cut different. Like watching the die hard series American 80s release verse the modern European release. Practically two different dialogue scripts

What do you mean different? What was so different about it? More gore and nudity and stuff?

I can't fathom that being possible without the movie being borderline pornographic.

I watched the Psycho Pass movie with my son this morning. Not bad at all. An interesting extension of the original anime (which we're both fans of).

I realize now that I didn't respond to this before. The theatrical 80s Die Hard movie is super violent and language heavy wherequipment the European version dulls it down to a near cable ready movie

Finally managed to see Deadpool on my flight to Seattle. It was really good for a superhero movie and was really funny but I don't think it was anything *that* incredible.

Also got through the first 2 hours of straight outta compton on that flight before my plane landed. LOVED what little I got to see of it, and I definitely need to see the last 30 minutes of it. I've been listening to NWA/Dre for a while now but I never really knew about any of the craziness involving that group. The movie so far has been definitely been doing their music justice.

Watched suicide squad last night and was pleasantly surprised at how much I enjoyed it. Objectively it's not a great film but it sure was fun. And I think Margot is to Harley as Heath was to Joker

I told you Harley was the [bleep]ing star of the movie! Even only for that it is worth watching. But there is some quality action aswell.
