The lure of being the first to 5b now suomi has pretty much ruled himself out of contention for the foreseeable future must be so intense for Jake now, he's gone from being honestly a rank outsider to hit 5b first, to being the leader of the pack. Any advantage any of the top players can gain over there peers would be monumental now.

1.) S_U__O__M_I

 

Total Experience: 4,747 M

Experience Gained: 0.187M

 

Still almost entirely inactive, Suomi got on and did a farm run this week.

 

 

2.) Jake

 

Total Experience: 4,108 M

Experience Gained: 35.188 M

 

This week Jake passed the 4.1B milestone while keeping up his fairly fast construction pace. He also passed 150M construction experience which puts him about two weeks out from 200M in it, making it his 19th 200M. Of the top 15 he also has the fastest farming rate with about 3M experience a week compared to most people's ~1.5M a week.

 

 

3.) Drumgun

 

Total Experience: 3,687 M

Experience Gained: 9.533 M

 

Fairly slow week for Drumgun compared to his normal standards. He passed the 175M experience mark in firemaking and is less then 1.6M away from 200M woodcutting. He also gained 1M experience in mining, farming, and dungeoneering. Fairly promising to see that he has begun farming, could help make the race towards first to 200M all more interesting in the coming months.

 

 

4.) Jdelacroix

 

Total Experience: 3,678 M

Experience Gained: 17.719 M

 

First full week of slayer after EOC for Jd and looks like he has fully adapted to it with almost 3.5M slayer experience this week, as well as over 5M magic experience too. Jd passed Elvis to be our new rank 4 this as well and could give Drumgun competition for rank 3 next week if Drumgun doesn't increase to his normal pace again.

 

 

5.) Elvis

 

Total Experience: 3,677 M

Experience Gained: 3.210 M

 

Elvis's experience rate continues to fall this week as he moves onto woodcutting. This allowed Jd to fairly easily pass him at the end of the week and could even invite competition from Elias in the coming week or two as well. From his experience gains I'd hamper a guess that he is cutting ivy as well, though cannot be positive about that.

 

 

6.) Elias

 

Total Experience: 3,614 M

Experience Gained: 7.669 M

 

A slower week then normal for Elias as he focuses entirely on mining this week. Overall impressive mining gains at nearly 7.5M experience, but this slowed down his overall experience gain this week by not superheating and mining in combination.

 

 

7.) Almostlost

 

Total Experience: 2,981 M

Experience Gained: 7.717 M

 

Fairly similar experience gains to last week for Richard as he continues woodcutting. He also tried a bit of slayer this week as well with about 1M experience gained in it as well.

 

 

8.) Paulrat3

 

Total Experience: 2,884M

Experience Gained: 10.359 M

 

Overall a slower week for Paul as well (noticing a trend with slower weeks this week o.O), but quite a mixed bag on experience gains too. This week Paul got 1M slayer experience, almost 2M woodcutting experience, 2M herblore experience, and looks like he is continuing his dungeoneering daily challenges for 1.4M experience there as well.

Total Experience: 2,871 M

Experience Gained: 0

10.) Kingduffy

 

Total Experience: 2,852M

Experience Gained: 5.773 M

 

Fairly quick start to the week for Kingduffy with 3M prayer experience gained and passing the 90M mark in prayer. But sadly the king was emailed hacked Monday and cleaned. Because of this Kingduffy posted on the HLF that he will be quitting, as starting back from scratch is very disheartening. Will be very sad to see our former rank #1 and overall the king of diversity quit. Will have to wait and see next week if his decision to quit pulls through.

 

 

11.) Dragonseance

 

Total Experience: 2,832M

Experience Gained: 15.763 M

 

Sticking to his statement of going hard in decemember, Dragon picked up the pace a bit this week. He is less then 500k from 200M herblore, which we should see him get soon(ish) (he is known to leave 200Ms just a hair away) for his 11th 200M skill. This week he also continued Runespanning with 4M gained there, and to wrap it up he is continuing his book of char firemaking gains as well.

 

 

12.) Robbie

 

Total Experience: 2,764 M

Experience Gained: 24.714 M

 

Robbie keeps up his experience pace this week with a pretty large 5M slayer gain this week. This puts him less then 2M away from 200M slayer and his 7th 200M. Seems slayer will also leave him about 85M short of 200M defence which I'd guess is where he may head next. With his gains this week, Robbie was able to overtake and get a lead of 5M on Number1 Boss this week for rank 12.

 

 

13.) Alkan (aka Number1 Boss)

 

Total Experience: 2,761 M

Experience Gained: 18.041 M

 

Number1 Boss continues slaying and woodcutting this week. Even keeping up his average experience rate, Robbie was able to pull ahead of him for his rank 12th spot this week.

 

 

14.) Chilly (aka Nico Robin)

 

Total Experience: 2,722 M

Experience Gained: 6.518 M

 

If nothing else, Chilly is very consistent with nearly identical experience gains to last week. Another 6M woodcutting experience gained this week putting her about three weeks out from 200M woodcutting for her 12th 200M. Even though she is going extremely fast through woodcutting, the slow skill is allowing Pope to make up ground on her. Will be interesting to see where she goes after woodcutting.

 

 

15.) Pope712

 

Total Experience: 2,715 M

Experience Gained: 12.677 M

 

Pope is fairly consistent to last week as well as he continues to slay. Pope also got a low mix of experience in about every skill this week (200k-700k) and would appear he is keeping up with his daily dungeoneering challenge as well. If Pope continues at his pace right now he should be able to pass Chilly next week for rank 14.

Presumably the best alternative to a Zaryte would be either the Crystal Bow (next best bow, 10 levels lower in tier) or the Royal Crossbow (same tier as Zaryte, but not an exact style weakness match). Someone would have to test to be sure which is better.

Assuming you are 99 all and stopped dungeoneering at 120, I think it may be better experience per hour to get 200mil doing daily challenges. Doing a daily challenge differs a bit depending if you do it with a team of 2 or more the dungeon can take 2 minutes or less even. Say for a rough estimate that you have to teleport to Burthrope afterwards and the dungeon time to be 5 minutes a day for ~190k experience (~180k for the challenge and around 10k for the dungeon, could possibly be better off averaging 200k for 5 minutes, but I'll aim for a lowball estimate).

 

That would make dungeoneering a 2280k an hour (12*190k) after 120. This is similar logic as farming experience an hour. Downside would also cut out any random experience from dungeoneering doors.

 

But either way worth considering.

97m xp @ 190k a day would take 510~ days and if you do a c6 small solo(5~ mins for an average of 20-40k xp I believe, not 100% sure) that'd be 220k\250k xp daily or only 440 or 388 days, definitely within the time alloted for almost anyone to get 200m all.

It's defiantly more efficient to do daily challenges.

Door XP isn't significant enough. I remember Thai having some statistics on his time to 5B thread, but I can't remember them.

 

Regardless, those will have changed as shared XP is no longer used by any decent 5:5 team.

You have to also consider the opportunity cost of using your challenges on dungeoneering rather than agility or slayer. I'm sure it'll still be worth it, but that can't be ignored.
