Any info on div bonus xp

 

It was confirmed via Mod Mark's Twitter that there would be no bonus Divination XP until after somebody got 200m XP. If you spent half as much time training Div as you did waiting for bonus XP on it you'd be 99+ already.

 

if this is true Drumgun should troll us all and stop at 199,999,999 xp and then wait for rank 2 to play catch up lol

Someone from my clan pointed out Drumgun's experience today (he said it was extremely high). Seeing as I hadn't checked the Hiscores in forever, I decided to give it a look. I was shocked to see Drumgun at 59M experience. Just for fun I decided to do some quick math, with conservative estimates:

 

Divination has been out for roughly 39 days, or 936 hours.

 

Calculated at an estimate of 100,000 experience/hour at Divination (this is not technically accurate, as at levels below 99, you wouldn't get nearly as much, and even at 99 it would still be lower than 100K, and 99 is 13M experience, keep in mind).

 

It would require 590 hours for 59M experience.

 

590 hours divided by a total of 936 hours having been available since Divination gives us: 590/936 = 0.63, or 63%

 

Mind you this is an extremely conservative estimate, but still, that's about two-thirds, on average, of every day since Divination having been spent on training. Or 16 hours per day spent on it, that still leaves 8 hours for sleep, I suppose.

 

I guess some people really can train it all day.

 

might be 100k in hour if you focus on it and use energies...i think its more like 80-90k in hour if you not giving 100% attention to screen

all bathroom breaks, eating etc slow down so he must be online more than 16h in day.

when i wake up i dont instantly hop at computer so i need 15min atleast to wake up enough to start playing and same when i go bed...i dont instantly fall asleep

Suomi started out hard on Div, heading towards 99 at a decent pace. However, feeling humanitarian, he once again has stopped 1xp short of where we all want him to be. Remaining at 13,034,430 Divination to allow Jake to be #1, we hope, we pray, that the Guthixian butterflies return for max troll rating in order to restore S U O M I back to his throne atop the highscores.

 

Don't expect to see him hit 99 anytime soon.

 

2. Jake 4556m +27m

Much faster out of the block with Divination, our new number one has continued to amass strong gains in Divination (+15m) after an early assault which saw him reach 92. Dailies appear to be providing the rest of his monthly gains, with Warbands providing Mining (7.7m) and Smithing (2.6m) with Super September (and some Barb Fishing) chipping in with 1.1m Agility xp. Expect to see him looking down upon the remainder of the peasants until S U O M I can't take the lack of fame.

Upcoming: 110m Mining

 

3. Jdelacroix 4349m +53m

Highscores Rank: 1281

Jdelacroix hasn't been working as strongly at clearing Divination, currently sitting at 97. Gains for the month vary, with Attack (18m) the highlight, and Mining (Warbands) chipping in with 11m. Other gains of note include Hunter (7.8m, thanks Chronicles), Agility (1.7m - Super September if I had to speculate), Ranged (2.5m) and Fishing (1.3m). Div gains in the past week or so have slowed, so it is tough to estimate a time on 99 and return to Rank 3, however, expect to see continued solid gains, especially out of the so-called "Dailyscape" skills.

4. Drumgun 4338m +53m

Highscore Rank: 2

Drumgun keeping pace with Jdelacroix this month, although almost entirely through Divination. Our current Rank 1 has smashed out gains in Divination (47m) and looks likely to continue this trend for some time. Farming (3.9m) and Herblore (970k) the other gains of note in the past month. Expect this trend to continue, and to see Drumgun to put up a strong fight for the coveted Permanent Rank 1 for Divination.

 

To my knowledge, he also sits as the only person to sit atop the highscores with Rank 1 in 3 Skills.

5. Dragonseance 3869m +99m

Highscore Rank: 3

Dragonseance put up a strong effort in the early days of Divination, and in the past month has gained just 3.8m in the skill, hitting 99 (with change) and returning to normal service. We see a shift in primary focus towards Thieving (+35m), to which we can expect to see more gains in his attempt to become Australian. A spree of Dragonstones raised Crafting (+24m), whilst Dailyscape continues to provide the backbone for gains - 11m Mining, 3.4m Agility (Super September), 11m Mining, 4.3m Firemaking and 1.5m Woodcutting via the Fabled Yew Parties of 2k13. Hunter (8.1m) and Fishing (2.7m) round out the month.

Upcoming: 75m Agility

 

6. Elvis 3831m +2.9m

Highscore Rank: 5522

We see the King return for Divination, albeit with the continued gains we expect to see from Elvis. The past month has yielded 1.9m Divination xp, with associated Hunter gains (416kk) the other primary stand out. Don't get your hopes up for a return to the glory days, else you are destined for Heartbreak Hotel.

8. Almostlost 3708m +119m

A very strong month for Richard, highlighted by reaching 200m Summoning (#14) with a monthly gain of 65m. We see continued progress in Divination (13m) with Hunter (16m) tagging along for the ride. Agility (5.3m), Smithing (2.8m), Firemaking (4.3m) and Woodcutting (2.4m) all showing strong gains, whilst the king of Warbands himself has looted 11m Mining xp for the month.

9. Geel 3627m +125m

Highscore Rank 5

Geel continues to drop huge amounts of xp (is anyone even shocked any more). Divination (42m) and Hunter (58m) the focus of the month, which has seem him rise to #4 on the Divination highscores. Dailies contributing much of the remainder, with gains in Mining (7.3m) and Smithing (3.3m) seemingly via Warbands, Farming (5.4m) and Firmaking (2.9m). Ranged (1.8m) the other gain of note this month. Expect to see a continuation current trends with Hunter and Divination continuing to dominate.

10. Paperbag 3604m +37m

Highscore Rank 6

Divination (9.1m) the strong early focus of the month, with PB hitting 99 mid-September then pulling the breaks, reverting back to pre-Divination routines and a focus on Smithing (20m). Dailyscape throwing up 7.4m Dungeoneering through the month. Expect to see MC Hammer continue to smash out Smithing gains, with roughly 3 weeks remaining on the road to 200m #15.

11. Alkan 3353m +47m

Highscore Rank 7

Alkan continues to spend much of his focus at Rocktail, with Fishing (16m) his largest gain of the month, which also saw him reach 120 (#17). He saw Divination to 99 (and slightly beyond) with a giant of 5.9m and associated Hunter gains (7.8m). Super September capping out the month with a 2.8m Agility gain.

12. Kingduffy 3282m +23m

Kingduffy is another who has all but stopped post 99 Div, reaching 14m (montly gain of 3.6m) and dropping off. Sticking true to the Kingduffy form guide, we see gains across the board, this month having Fishing (3.2m), Crafting (1.3m), Slayer (3.8m), Construction (3.9m) and Divination as the major contributors. Expect to see this pattern continue with no immediately obvious goal visible.

13. My Kingz 3277m +97m

Highscore Rank: 9

Kingz is another of the usual suspects with big gains this month, falling just shy of the triple figure gains. The #1 Trimmer reached 99 Div this month (+7.6m) with Hunter (17m) tagging along for the ride. We see further gains in Strength (1.4m), Magic (3m), Woodcutting (2m), Fishing (3m), Firemaking (1.4m), Mining (8.4m), Herblore (8.5m), Agility/Thieving (3.8m) and Farming (4.2m). Expect to see him amass large Herblore gains in the near future.

14. Robbie 3250m +42m

Highscore Rank: 6220

Primary source of Robbie's gains this month come through Firemaking (30m) as he asserts himself as a true Arsonist, reaching 200m #11. Farming (4.2m), Fishing (3.6m), Defence (1.2m) and Divination (1.2m) rounding out the noteworthy gains for the month. Given recent inactivity, I don't expect to see him making a return to the top of the highscores in the near future.

 

15. Paulrat3 3219m +2.3m

Highscore Rank: 7881

All but inactive for another month, Paulrat's gains have come via Dungeoneering (1m) and Divination (739k). Another semi-inactive player who I wouldn't anticipate will be returning to the front page in the near future (if at all).

 

 

Expect Crystalfarm to pass Paulrat for total xp in the coming days and knock him out of the Top 15.

Karamja Volcano Resource Dungeon, I know that most people have been doing it there, it's really fast on a high-populated world, got plenty of imps.
