Sinterklaas counts?

PEPERNOTEN PEPERNOTEN and chocolate letters

...

Wut?

Sinterklaas = Santa Clause

Nope, it's a Dutch tradition: http://www.galactic-guide.com/articles/13R2.html. Kind of the Dutch equivalent for Christmas, although that is also celebrated by most people in the Netherlands.

But yeah, what Felix said.

I'm at the age where you really don't ask for things anymore.. But I'll probably get some clothes, a dvd or a video game or something whatever my stepmom gets for me. My birthday is also on the 4th of december *cough* 21 *cough* so I never really expect a whole lot from either day because the two are so close together.

You were born only 4 days before me :ohnoes:

I made a list that included about 75 movies, 40 books, 13 videogames, a stand for any movies I have/get, a Toronto Maple Leafs jersey (preferably Kaberle), a Toronto Blue Jays jersey (Hill or Downs would be best) and a fwe other things I can't recall. I don't want much.

A new teddy bear that I can hug (when I get nightmares or crazy dreams, which is often).

However..

1) I don't really tell people directly 'OH BUY ME A TEDDY BEAR FOR CHRISTMAS'.

2) I guess I'm too old to want a teddy bear.

3) "Santa doesn't visit anymore."

That's about it..

At the bottom of my list is a tripod, but I don't really need it.

Teddy bears are the best. I definitely love being able to hug something while I sleep :P Especially while thinking of a significant other.. ;)

I don't want to hug a pillow! I want something cute and fuzzy :P The fact that I'm a six year old at heart probably fuels this.

Agreed! Pillows are too awkward. I've tried hugging my star-shaped pillow, very uncomfortable. Plus I sleep on my pillow D:

Well therein lies the problem with just having one pillow. So as to never have that problem, I have 4 pillows on my bed. Generally only two are in use (one for my head and one under me) but on particularly sleepless nights I'll end up using all 4 to get comfortable.

I have 7 on my bed at home :ohnoes: I take off one while I sleep though and another is a tiny Brookstone pillow that is FULL of win. It's the cuddliest pillow ever. But I really only actually use two (a regular pillow and my Brookstone Baby). Three pillows are propped up against the wall, I use two for actually sleeping and then there's one on the other side of my bed. But even so, I still want something cute! :P

Yes I am building it myself but most likely I will be paying for a lot of it, but some of it will be presents. The thing is, I don't have enough money to buy all of it but I don't know how much money I will be getting for Christmas so even after, I might not be able to get it.

PJ's

Cow teddy (this is a given, I get one every year from my nieces lol)

A full length free standing mirror (I was going to get this myself but my brother and his gf said they would buy it for me)

The new Chris Ryan book that I am not sure of the title.

The new Andy McNab book I am not sure of the title.

The new PC Cast book I am not sure of the title

The new Dan Brown book.

As I have no internet access in my flat, I am reading loads at the moment, and I need some new books.

I have also asked, if it is not hugely expensive, could I get a lamp that clips onto my cross stitch frame thing.

Other that the teddy, these are all things that I was going to get myself, so if I get them from someone else, then that will be great, if not, then that is fine, I will get them in the new year when I get paid.

Initially I have said I don't want anything, but apparently that is not allowed, so I gave that list... I was going to get them myself anyway, so if they have to buy me something then that would be nice lol.

My parents usually buy me something "big" for Christmas, but there is nothing big that I want, so I have asked my parents if I can have money, this will go with the £800 that i have saved towards the £1200 needed for a deposit for my braces in the new year.
