Blarg spawn campers!

one itemers, pking skillers, I have no problem with you UNLESS

You beat me back to the spawn room, and camp the damn doors, not letting a single skiller through.

I dislike getting half points by being tripple teamed the first step out into the play are.

I do not get good points for vengancing you for three hundred damage a round.

Please let me get to a gathering point, so I can at least get to the twenty k mark.

It is annoying, but the main thing about this minigame is to win. And by hindering the opposing team, it is much easier.

Quests just keep bringing me back to this game.

I think stealing creation is fine as it is. It gives pking a purpose in the minigame. Without spawn camping, the only time it can severely change the tides of a game is when pkers manage to down someone for thousands of arrows. Spawn camping does two things: 1) gives pkers lots of points for all the damage they do 2)shuts down the other team for a long time. If the team is trapped in their own base, they can't access resources, so they can't gain many points. If a group of sc pkers manages to take over the opponent's base, they pretty much dominate the game.

One thing I find helpful to prepare for an ambush and survive it is to make a large supply of c4 or c5 daggers. If you know the opposing team is rounding up a killing group, start making those daggers or telling other players to make them. With a base full of high power daggers, everyone trapped in the base can grab a dagger and chase the pkers off. Believe me, I've ruined several clans of decent-level mages with just a dagger by myself, simply because their robes have no def and dagger eats through it. With high level players, you need cooperation from others for sure if you want to down them; thats where the team aspect comes in.

tip it would pay me $500.00 to keep my clothes ON :(
But then again, you fail to realize that 101% of the people in this universe hate you. Yes, humankind's hatred against you goes beyond mathematical possibilities.
That tears it. I'm starting an animal rebellion using my mind powers. Those PETA bastards will never see it coming until the porcupines are half way up their asses.

Apparently a lot of people say it. I own.

Sorry, if you don't like it, go play a non combat game of SC. I mean, if I have my 20k points and am pking, I don't care who you are, and will kill you anywhere you go.

you actually expect there to be daggers left in a public game? No runes or arrows either, as people take the whole stats, and you can't expect random people to protect item. And unarmed + damage on death isn't all that deadly. Perhaps the new prayer set will help, but not for everyone.

Agreed... I hate when people "rant" about other people using completely valid minigame tactics. Like actually RUNNING AWAY in fist of guthix. Sound familiar?

Except the FOG rant is actually legitimate, because running away is not effective at all. It actually increases your chance of losing.

The way I've played SC was to either be aggressive, be passive, or be a bit of both - and I've either camped at doors or have had my own base camped at. The biggest thing is that it's a valid tactic, like many unorthodox things in SC are - the point, of course, is to win, and the opposing team can, should, and will do everything in their power to limit you to as few points as possible.

That said, I don't really like campers/camping myself. But it becomes a moot point after a while - if you can't gather enough high level clay/make enough high level weaponry to fight back, or your team hasn't done the same, then wouldn't you be in the exact same situation, except at a coveted resource?

So yeah. I don't much like campers, but fighting them off is a matter of how good you and your team are in the first place. If they're damn good, then you won't have problems; if they're not, then you'll just be stuck at that 19,999 mark for sixteen minutes.

I hate spawn campers! And since i am only a level 72, if my base is camped i'm basically just screwed.

You have to take off everything except your gloves and boots. WTF JAGEX?

Don't forget about the ring, you can keep that one to :)

And your necklace.

And quiver! This is fun :P!

The point of the mini-game is to beat your opponent to use that unfair advantage (in our case spawn-camping). In other words, spawn-camp them, before they spawn-camp you.
