I have an interest in making games but I love hand helds, I've been wondering if there is a drag and drop software that would allow me to make a game like DBZ Buu's Furry in terms of game style but i prefure more open world, and does any body know if a made game would work on any type of blackberry?

You can't make a game with drag-and-drop, you need to get a real program. Have you done anything with Source mapping? It's a pretty good place to start, relatively simple.

The only real software that I have used is Game Maker but it sucks, and I'm trying to get into making games.

Do you know anything about coding? Making a game isn't something you can just do. It requires a lot of work and anything that isn't a flash game will probably require more than one person to make.

There is no drag-and-drop software that I know of to make the game you are looking to make. You will probably need to learn some coding and try to make it yourself after one or more years of studying a particular langugage like Java, C++, or python.

Even flash games can be pretty complex. Whilst it is possible to put images straight into that, if you want it to move in a realistic manner, it would need to be compromised of the body and head (together or seperate), upper and lower arms, and upper and lower legs. Then you have to create a walk cycle. Of courese, you can have that endlessly looping, or you can make it stop at a certain point.

With games, you need to be able to code in flash, and be able to make buttons, as a certain button must be coded to jump to the right frame.

With other games, such as on a handleheld device, normally you need a few people, some who can code, others designing certain parts, others working on character development and plot.

It's a complicated thing to do.

Getting a program to make games for handhelds would probably cost a good bit of money, and you'd need to learn a coding language and get some other people to work on it as well. A how-to video on Youtube and a free program isn't going to get a game made.

So should I give up hope or is there some software that I can use to make games like Buu's Fury and hopefully on a handhelds I was thinking a BlackBerry but not sure if they can load [Caution: Executable File].

You just need to practice with a program.

For example, Andrew Gower was first introduced to coding when he was a very young age and it took him over a decade to get to where he is now.

I'm sure there are pirated versions of software. And I'm 15 so I have plenty of time to make games and I don't' want to start that complex.

I know that.

And is any one aware if blackberrys can load [Caution: Executable File]?

Why start with making an entirely new game? Pick up something such as Unreal Tournament 3, Half Life 2, Torchlight or anything with a solid modding base and work on something from there.

It's a much better choice than trying to develop such a thing for a handheld, especially when you're looking at a phone. You need to consider each phone has their own quirks that you would have to program for, it's not something to [bleep]ing start out on.

So pick up one of those 3 games, they can easily be gotten for around ~20 each, and then learn the software that comes with them and start out small. Make some maps for UT3 or HL2, or maybe make a dungeon for Torchlight. Then when you get more experience you can try creating your own full scale modifications which would also start to give you some slight experience in coding as well. The good thing about these programs is that there is minimal coding involved for just making something like a map, and most of it is very straight forward. For example the Unreal Engine 3 is easy to "code" in because it's all done through trees where you just link input/output. So, for example, if you want a door to open when you step on this stone you would set the stone icon to an "open" command and then link that command to the door.

If you're looking to make some odd hack and slash thing like "Buu's Fury" (not sure why you picked that game out of anything as inspiration) than Torchlight would fit your bill. It seems to use the same trees style that the Unreal Ed uses but I don't really have any experience in it.

ps: with your blackberry question chances are you're going to have to make it specifically for that handheld. You can't just make an "exe" and then run it on there, that would be ridiculous.

If you really want to make games, I suggest you got to college. Seriously, you can't just make a game out of nothing, and programing specifically requires a basic understanding of trigonometry.
