D Jay99
What about death?Same thing. As far as I know, farming level doesn't affect anything except maybe the damage you can do to that monster from fairy tale pt. 1.

Mischlings
The yield actually does increase as your level increases (set a high farming objective and read what it says), but the difference when it comes to herbs is so small that it's pretty much negligible. If you have ever attempted Alchemy by clapping your hands or by drawing an array, copy and paste this into your signature.

If you check firemaking objective, it says you can light logs faster when you increase your firemaking level, though a level 45 firemaker can get as much xp per hour as me when we both burn maple logs. glasscube
And I am pretty sure the higher your farming level, the less likely stuff become diseased. I think the best thing to notice this with is with watermelons. Help drive change Canada

That is right -- with logs right at the level you can burn and maybe slightly under (for example, magics between 75 and 80), you sometimes don't light the log right away and it takes a while to get it lit -- most people probably don't remember that because they spend all their time training with maple logs, which are low level and rarely have that problem past level 60. Zaaps1
Both objectives are indeed correct, so yes, Farming level DOES affect your yields. However, don't worry about it. It's very trivial knowledge.has anybody actually ever tested it?at 99 farming i have never noticed any increase in farming yield in contrast to when i farmed at earlier levels.I'm more inclined to believe that jagex was simply wrong in their comment. Mischlings
With herbs, there is little difference. I'd guesstimate maybe .5 herbs/patch difference between base level and 99, if that much. However, check out allotments and see just how much more of those you get at higher levels. Since most people avoid allotments entirely, going with just trees and herbs, they never see a large difference in yield as they level up. I think the best thing to notice this with is with watermelons. Logically thinking yes. There are farmers who you can buy their services for who will look after your crops. It makes you wonder what their farming level is and if they actually have to ever cure your plants when your not around. There is a difference in alloitments as mentioned though, as I remember at level 20 or so in farming I was always having to cure. Now at 66 I rarely have to cure, they either die or grow. Lol, you think they just guessed that's how farming worked? And thanks for the replies guys. I asked because I've noticed a fairly decent increase in the number of toadflax herbs from level 50 - 62. Lol, you think they just guessed that's how farming worked? And thanks for the replies guys. I asked because I've noticed a fairly decent increase in the number of toadflax herbs from level 50 - 62.I've done toadflax farming from 60 to 90 (every now and then trees too) and I haven't seen any increase, at all. Also on the forums, someone discovered that message a few months ago and made a thread about it. On that thread people posted how many herbs they were averaging. When all information was gathered (there was information of more than 20k seeds planted at different levels etc), the conclusion was there was only about like 0.5% probability that there was an increase, and IF there was an increase, it'd be about 0.01 herbs per seed per level, or almost not noticeable. I really doubt the increase of your herbs will be that great, or you had a bad strike (which does happen every now and then - my friend has 7 out of 12 seeds diseased yesterday and he's level 95 farming). It's a shame this thread is eaten by the page 51 monster cause it really was useful.
All_Is_Great
I farmed kwuarms from 52 ( i think that's the level needed ) all the way until 73, using snaps on the trollheim patch after lvl 62, and never noticed any increase in yields. However, my lantadymes were diseased much less often than my kwuarms, but that doesn't make any sense since i was only 1-5 levels above the lantadyme requirement.
