purpieman2
Little rant about the treasure hunter, but it's irritating how often members objects show up now. Even more than before. I only got 2 f2p items after 11 keys in 11 days.

decebal
Funny how they only implemented this change after MEMBERS requested them. The F2P community shall forever be in debt to you members! Then again, we should be already...

wormy
So the new replay Ashdale boss fight reward is the black pearl: which gives bonus xp, which is not gainable while a free player?
Platinum_Myr
So the new replay Ashdale boss fight reward is the black pearl: which gives bonus xp, which is not gainable while a free player? You can gain one black pearl per week for f2p, 2 for members. LogOnBeach
The point the OP is trying to make Platinum is that we can get a black pearl which is redeemable for BXP whereas F2Pers can't even use the BXP we already have/will get in the future. Fire_Hawk154
Even more useless BXP, you can also cash out for a tiny amount of coins <_<
Sobend
I suppose the repeating boss fight is useful for freeplayers who plan on getting members eventually. When I lose members this fall this update will probably keep me logging in. But for pure freeplayers, yeah useless. -Sobend Proud to be free from the tyranny of pants. Hurrah! wormy
oh ok thanks everyone. I just did not know if it was a special kind of BXP, but since it is not, shrug.
Princess Viola
what would be the best way for me to train mage as a free player? i currently got level 17 magic i believe and most of that was from experience rewards from quests, miniquests, and xp lamps and such im not good with this whole evolution of combat thing still
Arceus
Firstly, buy an air staff. Then just use combat until you can get up to superheat/high alch. You can use air spells if you're short on money, or other elemental spells if you can supply those runes for yourself. "Fight for what you believe in, and believe in what you're fighting for." wormy
Hey, do we have any non-quest monsters(besides revs) who are over cmb 100?I remember red spiders and hellhounds were at one point, but when I went looking the reds were down to 95, and the hellhounds 92ish. Arceus
My friend had the misfortune of being assigned this challenge to kill a certain number of monsters above combat level 150 before they changed over combat levels (which I presume is what happened to you as well, as they changed that challenge from 150 down to 100). He found out there were no such monsters at or above that level, so his only recourse was to do dungeoneering floors with multiple high-level players with high enough difficulty to force the game engine to generate monsters with combat levels sufficiently high, which he did. Even if you do that, the xp reward from the challenge isn't really worthwhile, but if you were planning on going Dungeoneering anyway, go for it. sees_all1
I thought there were some revenants that were higher than 100 (such as knight being ~120), but since the area is multi it's a royal pain just to kill 1. 99 dungeoneering achieved, thanks to everyone that celebrated with me! ♪♪ Don't interrupt me as I struggle to complete this thoughtHave some respect for someone more forgetful than yourself ♪♪♪♪ And I'm not doneAnd I won't be till my head falls off ♪♪
Arceus
If Runescape Wiki is up to date, the Revenant dark beast and knight will work (112, 117), but yeah, I don't know any non-rev monsters. wormy
All the revs became much easier to kill post EOC, which put the knight and dark beast from almost un-soloble to impractical to solo.Oh well, thanks for the replies, I saw that the combat levels of things moved about so I thought maybe it was do-able; but no such luck. Arceus
Where do I go to get those free Dungeoneering xp's from leeching? Assuming 15 combat is still acceptable.
