Steam winter sale will have EA with it's tail between it's legs. Thus, you will find websites all over the internet, also including origin, with premium on sale. I think the last time Origin had it on sale for $45. A friend of mine showed me a website where it was only $35. Next time it's that low I'm going to pounce on it.

Yeah I'm not buying premium until the game is playable. I'd say 60% of my deaths are due to rubberbanding onto grenades, or rubberbanding my jet into the ground. That being said, china rising is very fun. Bombers are kinda lame, and I don't appreciate the lack of obliteration, but the maps themselves are far superior to the vanilla ones

I wish Dice would stop throwing stupid gimmicks into DLCs which do nothing for the game in the long term. Stuff like scavenger and air superiority, yes they are fun when the DLCs first come out but after two weeks I won't touch them again. I would prefer improvements to existing game modes or more efforts into the maps. Obliteration is an example of a well thought out game mode with longevity, more of than would be great.

 

The bomber is another stupid gimmick, it sucks and you can't even control it. They never should have made it, its pointless.

Scavenger and air superiority are great. I think it was Battlefield 1942, my friend and I would play that for HOURS. It was great. I'd like to play them again, too bad I'm not playing BF4 atm. (Not because the game is 'unplayable' but because I'm playing Splinter Cell: Blacklist)

 

Improvements to existing game modes? What are they supposed to do? You can't just add more destructible, map changing things (like the tower falling in siege of shanghai)...

 

I haven't played it yet but this bomber doesn't do anything? It just flies over the map or something? Maybe the commander controls it?

Basically you get into a control vehicle, and a bomber spawns above, and you get to control one of the guns. If you're lucky, you can get a reload for two salvos before the bomber despawns. They really should've just called it a gun-run. That, or just pulled a call of duty and have like three bombers fly over the map and ACTUALLY DROP BOMBS in lines. Each bomb could've caused craters/destroyed forests/caused cave-ins... but nooooo, that'd actually be cool.

Oh it's a gun run. Are the guns powerful? The AC130 in conquest is soooo under powered. I'm a wizard at hitting things with the big gun on it, like I can hit helicopters/boats while they're moving. But when it comes down to that; why the [cabbage] aren't boats/helis destroyed in one hit when hit with an ARTILLERY ROUND? That annoys me. But otherwise I'm okay. Still haven't played the new maps, but I will, most likely in mid January.

I finally got a good enough graphics card to play BF4. I am so bad...like really bad lol. Haven't played a shooter sense BF3 and haven't played a shooter very competitively sense BFBC2 the year it came out. This is also my first shooter on a PC so I really excited to get playing again :)

ASUS 760 GTX. Was super surprised at how well it ran the game. My only comments so far is that sometimes the server seems super unreliable. But other times it works great. Howfully it'll be work soon :)

Nice, why'd you pick that over another brand?

For the most part I've heard the game is fixed. Just watch servers where you have bad ping and and it's location and you should be good :)

Except for the bug that makes your game crash if you hop in the same gunner seat of any vehicle twice in a row. Or the frame drop when there's more than 2 incendiary grenades going off. I'm still losing connection to servers constantly, but I'd say half the time its due to being put in a low connection server. The other half is still battlefield nonsense.

Main reasons I choose the one I got was because of the price point and the fact the motherboard was made by Asus as well. Asus makes great parts :)

The ONLY thing that bugs me do far with the game is jumping into a vehicle and the game crashing. Everything else is pretty good so far.

We could make an animation.

 

We don't have animations for those because animations are what make these games so difficult to produce and look good. I hope that makes sense, it works in my head.

I think I found the issue. It would give me the option to get into a tank if there was already 2 people in it. If there was 2 people in it and I tried to jump in it would crash on me. Haven't had the issue lately so I guess it's okay.

Something I found fun was to look at my old BFBC2 stats. I was so proud to get to lv 34 on that game. BFBC2 still my favorite shooter of all time :)

That UAV was certainly a game changer if someone good was piloting it. Just as easy to take down, though.

It was so easy to stand in the open, in a foresty areawith the American ghillie suit and not get noticed quickly, because you looked like a bush :D

So many good memories. I remember getting the MG3. Loved that gun. RPM and the sound it made was just great lol. That and the STG.77 AUG. Remember when I got that AR I felt unstoppable. Weapon I had the most kills with by the looks of it. Second closets was the M-416.
