Talk about limiting supplies of the staff of light....wtf...you need 93 slay, a fire cape, AND assigned a freaking task to kill it. It better be a 1 in 50 drop or this things gonna become a new sigil drop ffs.

That hexcrest thing is only 1.5m in GE anyways....... And I just visited the mounds..... I don't think you can attack them unless you're on a slayer task as I just tried with the desert ones..... Might try with the jungle

Anyone noticed? In PvP magers are also vulnerable to rangers missiles, yet the staff only "halfs" the damage from meleers. So PvP Warrior made a bit weaker

Rangers obtaining Slayer helm - faster killing, but do they deserv that? I remember as a meleer, archers being able to safespot Dragons, while i could not do that at lower level. And the resources was also more expensive.

 

Stinks that Warriors are being put down...,give us a new melee weapon!

* Fixed a problem with the dragon platelegs when holding the orb of oculus.

* Fixed the agility animation timing when going under the wall shortcut in Varrock.

* Adjusted the chathead animation for an NPC that wasn't working properly.

* Corrected players stances with two-handed weapons when using the Werewolf Agility Arena.

* Fixed a problem with the bullroarer animation and its looping.

* Corrected some of the unlock code for a couple of music tracks.

* Corrected a problem when trying to spy on penguins in a certain area.

* The seers headband will no longer give you the bonuses on free worlds.

* The objective system should no longer show 1% if you've not gained any experience toward your goal.

* The mud thrown at you when the giant mole retreats now properly scales to cover your window.

* The Snare and Entangle spells will correctly tell you that they're members-only.

* Adjusted the code for pickpocketing bandits.

The staff of light saves you 103k if you're maging with fire surge, and 360k if you're casting ice barrage.

 

SD on max settings. It looks like HD but without the anti alias.

Annoying, why did they suddenly start making stuff like this after I get 99 slayer.

 

 

If I have to choose an insignificant low-level Slayer update, or an awesome high level one that actually irritates you, I'll pick the latter. B)

 

Pity about the design of the staff, but perhaps the Saradomin sword and this Staff of Light has some hidden information? It's no coincidence that they have such similar looks. I refuse to believe that the designer is 'lazy', for he/she is still not lazy enough to name a yellow staff as the staff of light.

The new Standard Detail looks better than HD.

 

How? SD laggs and it doesn't have anti alias.

 

It's not as soft looking as HD, so it seems more realistic and detailed and less like a N64 game. HD to me looks like it's been put through a blurry filter even without Anti-Alias.
