I would enjoy the free membership that comes with this, but I don't think that I'd be able to make the trip lol. Telling all of my friends and family, "Yup.. I just won a trip to England to visit the makers of the game that I've been playing for the last 5 years."

 

1. I'd never live it down at school.

 

2. My mom wouldn't let me go.

 

 

 

Pssshhht. A lot of kids at my school are video game nerds.

 

Oh teenagers.... I remember when I was a self-conscious teen trying so hard to remain "cool."

I know. Bless :P If I won a trip to Jagex my friends would be like YEY AWESOME, even though they don't play (most of them would be, at least) and anyone else I couldn't give a crap about. There's a reason I only have my ACTUAL friends on Facebook - and not 300 people. I really doubt anybody would turn down the offer to go to Jagex just because of friends - if they do then someone needs to shoot them. Preferably me... because then I can take their ticket :twisted:

All expenses paid trip to Cambridge.. Hmm, that'd be about £40 in a taxi then. Although perhaps I could live in a "second home" in australia if I win and ask them to reimberse my plane tickets. Heck, I should be a UK politician.

Amen. Pretty much ever guy in my class knows I play RS. Sure some like making a big deal out of it, but who cares?

Everyone in my class have specific things they like and there isnt any reason to make fun of someone for what they enjoy.

True friends accept you for who you are, not what you do. ;)
